I don’t understand the 5 star previous comment, if there’s one thing everybody knows is that this store has the poorest customer service skills. There’s a lady there her name is Guylaine, she will ask you if dhe can helps which is fine, but then after saying no thank you she will follow you and ask you again and again and again! She will interfere everytime you touch something or you look at something she will start saying something about what you’re looking. I even told her last time I went there that I just wanted to look at the clothing I had nothing in lind just looking on styles and see if I like something I’ll let you know, she still stayed there staring at me, other people came in she did the same with them and there was one customer who asked me whispering if this lady was always like that. I made a complaint with a friend who knows the store owner, I hope next time I’ll go there she’s not gonna be in otherwise I’ll go somewhere else.
Customer service aside, they do have nice clothes, prices are pretty high so expect to pay at least 100 $ for one or two items like a shirt or pair of pants and 300 $ for a sport jacket. Sometimes they have specials but the harrassment from the people there is horrible, you can’t even look at something without being said «it’s 50% if tou buy something else» or just touch a shirt and hear «would you like to try it?» Damn!!! Just remembering that makes me feel so mad. All friends I know tell me to make an effort and go to the laval store they are more professional there but I hate doing that, I’m supposed to get the same respect and service from a store everywhere! I hope the store owner reads this and do something about it. Maybe they are just paid by bonus I don’t lnow but gosh they harrass!

A friend of mine asked me to shop with him yesterday. He wears plus size so we had 2 choices, and one of them was Maximus. I did not know this store, but God, was I pleasantly surprised. A fabulous choice of clothing for every style. Costly, but yet affordable (as an ex plus size woman, this is a fact: plus size clothing is generally costly).
But what really made me fall in love with this store is how the staff know their clients. Ok, my friend is a social butterfly so no surprise that when we came in we were greeted with smiles and hugs… but as I was waiting for my friend to show me his different outfits, I realized that the staff knew many of the clients coming in, always greeting them with a smile and often their first names. And the sense of humor in this place… pure joy!
I was truly excited to discover the plus size men clothing bizz through Maximus… which by the way, is a Québécois company :)

Un de mes amis m’a demandé de magasiner avec lui, hier. Il porte des vêtements taille plus donc nous étions limités à 2 choix et l’un d’eux était Maximus. Je né connaissais pas du tout ce magasin, mais quelle belle découverte! Un choix fabuleux de vêtements, et ce pour tous les styles. Prix un peu élevés mais tout en étant abordables (en tant qu’ex femme taille plus ceci est un fait: les vêtements taille plus on tendnace à coûter cher).
Ce qui m’a vraiment achetée est les service du personnel et à quel point ils connaissent leurs clients. Ok, mon ami est un «socialite» par excellence, donc aucune surprise lorsque nous sommes entrés et que nous avons été accueillis avec des câlins et des sourires. Mais au travers des différents essayages de mon ami, j’ai réalisé que le personnel connaissait le nom de plusieurs clientsqui y entraient et tous y étaient accueillis chaleureusement. Et le sens de l’humour qui règne dans cette place… pure joie!
J’étais très excitée de découvrir le monde de la mode taille plus masculine au travers de Maximus… et prenez note que c’est une compagnie québécoise :)
