La plus inattendue et extraordinaire découverte à Laval! Magique ambiance, service accueillant, musique du monde très agréable. La crêpe est… un instant… Une bouché…simplement délicieuse au max. Je suis nouveau client et le serais pour longtemps.

We came to a new location called Sucré Salé on a Monday for«lunch», only to find ourselves as the only patrons in this fine looking creperie! The owner was also surprised to see us and she immediately started up the crêpe grill and gave us the 411 on her business. It’s initially awkward that they still don’t have menus and are still working on it as well as the final list of things they wish to sell but ultimately she was more than accommodating(really!) in getting us what we wanted. The location is very nice, almost lounge type with sectionals and divisions for grouping. It was very esthetically nice with soft popular music in the background. I’ll be straight up honest, the experience didn’t start off well as my favorite type of sweet crepes are apples and salty caramel… she had the caramel but not the apples!?! Apparently, she likes her apples«just right» and since it was June and apples not being«in season». I can respect folks going hardcore organic but honestly, I really don’t mind if my apples aren’t ideal. Truly. Just tell your patrons what they’re getting and they’ll understand and move on(hopefully!). Nonetheless, she was very apologetic and took note of this new ingredient and will stock this in the future and in particular a special apple recipe she does for this when it’s in season. While this was a huge X on the experience, ultimately she mitigated some of the damage by being so nice. I ultimately went with the sweet crêpe that consisted of strawberries and salty caramel. The crêpe was very good but when it was finished, all I craved was that the strawberries was apples. :( While I spoke of Sucre Sale of being a creperie they also have a wide variety of ice creams such as «crème molle»(aka soft ice cream), we were given some complimentary small cones and they were very good. The service is very veeeery nice and at times a bit awkward in terms of communication. Once the menu have been established and given out to patrons, this will get better, I’m sure. The price-tag is a little expensive at $ 10 a crêpe. I’d suggest adding something to this price-tag such as coffee or side fruits. I guess a menu will change this when it comes out. I’ll be back in end of August, hopefully the apples will be in season and I’ll get to taste her special recipe! Maybe, I can change my rating then!

J’ai vraiment aimé mon expérience! Très beau décor style chalet moderne et service chaleureux. J’ai vraiment trouvé l’idée du «make yourself at home» génial! Tu choisis ta crêpes, ta gaufre ou ton panini comme tu veux et c’est pas cher: p j’ai hâte de voir quel band va y jouer !

The concept of making your own crepes and gauffres seemed simple but with so many choices i was impressed with everything i could do. I had a crème de saumon as an entrée then a porc chop and chicken crêpe with a wine sauce as the main course and finally a chocolate cheesecake with ice cream for dessert. The owner and staff are very friendly and they always came back to make sure i had everything. The only reason i dont give it a 5 star is the moka but when i mentioned it they fixed it right away
