Location: In Carrefour Laval, near Simons. Tea: There’s not much more I can say that I haven’t already said in my other reviews. They offer a wide variety of teas that include white, green, black, herbal and flavored. I don’t think you can walk out without finding at least one tea that you like. This must be why every time I go there, I leave with way more than I went for. My personal favorites include the Pineapple, Strawberry Champagne, Blueberry Bliss and Tulsi Dosha Chai. That being said, in general, besides the Dosha Chai, I’m really not a fan of their Chai selection. I find them all to be bland and prefer Kusmi’s Kasmir Chai. Service: There were only two clerks in the store and both were busy so I had to wait. I didn’t necessarily mind — I did go on a Wednesday at lunch, and this isn’t exactly a peak hour for these guys so I can understand having only two clerks. The person who helped me was friendly and provided good service. Price: I won’t lie — their tea isn’t cheap and I would say that Davids Tea is less expensive. That said, I personally think that Teavana offers a higher quality, so I’m willing to pay more for their tea. Check their web site for deals though — if you order 1 pound of tea(you can combine flavors), you get 10% off + a free sample, As well, they often have web specials. I’ve ordered twice and got free shipping each time, however this seems to be an on and off promo that they have. It’s free shipping to the US by default(I think) but not to Canada. Also, beware — they don’t tell you this on the site but they charge you in USD. I gave this a three because of the wait, the limited selection of tins(yes, I was in the market that day) and because they only had the bottom of the barrel when it came to the Dosha Chai, so I left empty-handed where that one was concerned.
