Took the ferry twice to the island. Was a good ride. Had a lot of fun, mostly because I went with a group both times. The island itself is interesting, too, good place to go biking. But as a whole, if you’re looking for a place to spend the day, and not necessarily hankering after a ride on a ship, I’d say there’s better ways to spend the time.

You’re on a ship called the Jiimaan and it’s going to Pelee Island so you take what you can get. Pretty good fish burger and fries and the staff is good-natured. They give you a number and shriek once the order is up. I dig the ambience. If you’re ever on the ship, eat the food!
