They stocks the full range of optics from all the major manufacturers: Bushnell, Nikon, Vortex, Kowa, Swarovksi, Leica, Zeiss, and others. They’ll let you compare as many models as you like side-​by-​side out front of their shop; they have bird feeders and resolution charts set up to give you something to look at.
The staff are knowledgable and have real, hands-​on experience birding with the gear they sell. Furthermore, they’ll help you figure out what you need without trying to upsell you.
If you’re just looking to pick up a $ 100 pair of bushnells for casual birding then it’s probably not worth going out of your way to Pelee Wings. If, however, you’re looking to drop $ 2,500 on a pair of Leica or Swaro bins it’s well worth the 4 hour drive from Toronto to Pelee Wings.
