Like previous reviewer Steve M. said this store probably shouldn’t be called a Dollarstore, as some of their items are a bit pricey. That said the pricier items are often the name brand(really) sports stuff. Like the have NHL mugs and cups and CFL stuff(lots of Saskatchewan Roughrider items). So stuff might be a little pricier, but that said there are still deals to be had. This is particularly true right now because this store is about to close permanently, so they’re doing 50% almost everything in the store(except sports stuff, signs, and I think greeting cards). Since the store is closing the selection isn’t great, but I got some Christmas directions, kitchen stuff, and some laundromat size boxes of Tide and it was super cheap. They also have a really great selection of party stuff… like if you need to plan a big 30th or 40th or 50th, etc. birthday they’ve got balloons and banners and funny shot glasses and all that stuff. They party stuff is more than a dollar, but it’s still probably cheaper than what you would find somewhere else. If you’re in Leduc before they close on Dec 23, stop by this Dollarstore and see if you can’t find yourself a deal.

This is not you regular type of dollar store. I’m not sure it should even be called a dollar store as there were many items I saw that were in the $ 10.00−50.00 range. Many of the products seemed like they weren’t ones that appealed to me like they would at Dollarama. They seems maybe of a lower quality, not that Dollarama is top notch quality but a bit better. The fridge with pop was kind of empty, maybe because it was a hot day. A dollar for a can of pop is really not such a bargain for a dollar store. One thing that caught my interest here though was the quantity and variety of balloons which all can be filled will helium. I’m not sure I’d would return again as their wasn’t much that caught my eye or practical like I’d often find at Dollarama.
