We went for the buffet. The food was quite good. They had three choices of meat, some very good mashed potatoes, and a number of veggies, soups, and cold cuts. I wouldn’t say the selection was great, but that’s a very subjective thing. We certainly didn’t suffer need of anything.

Started off with poor service and that was followed up with even worse food. Went for soup and salad buffet, soup was bland and salad bar looked as though it was left out overnight. Cheese cubes were rock hard, carrots were dry, wilted, and cracked. Most of the other vegetables were old and soggy. When I complained about it I got attitude from both a server and Manager. They offered me something off the menu but if this is what the food I can see looks like I’m not willing to try what I can’t see! As a local businessman I’m quite Disappointed as I’m always looking for a good spot to take clients!

O’Brians was the scene of our 2013 Christmas brunch and all in all I was mostly pleased with the experience. First off I just want to say THANKYOU to everybody in the service industry who got stuck on Christmas duty this year… I cannot imagine that was a pleasant experience but you would never know from the happy disposition of our server. She was great to talk to and very attentive with our beverage refills! The food on the buffet line was fairly excellent. I have never had a more tender and juicy ham in all my life and I was really pleased with the many different salad offerings.(I know everybody says not to fill up on salad at a buffet but im a sucker for broccoli salad). There were a couple of things like the stuffing that tasted somewhat like store bought but I am not going to fault them as Christmas brunch at O’Brians is always notoriously busy and they have to get alot of food out fast! My one and only issue with this place came about an hour till closing when I asked if I paid the full buffet price could I get a box to take home to my ill mother. There was alot of food left and I had hoped they would jump at the chance to make some more money and save a little bit more food from having to be tossed into the garbage but the manager on duty informed my server that because it was Christmas they couldn’t allow it. I would have taken the news much better had the manager come out to inform me themselves and not sent my slightly embarrassed and highly apologetic server out to deliver the news for them but the slight disappointment was not enough for me to refuse a return trip in the future.
