I absolutely love Candora! As a newbie soapmaker, I’ve been scouring the net for supplies to make my own bath products from scratch and have been left with little options that are local or affordable. I came across Candora Soaps, an online store that specializes in all your soaping needs, like oils, fragrances, lye, molds and packaging for the final product (great idea for homemade holiday gifts!). They also carry their own ready made products.
The selection is generous without being overwhelming, the site is user friendly, easy to navigate and you can find everything you’re looking for. Service is also prompt and exceptional. You can tell this is a small company run by people who are passionate about their job and truly love soap and passing the knowledge on to their customers. I had questions about colorants and the owner, Donna, was lightning fast in her email reply with great advice and even helped troubleshoot my problem another time I contacted her regarding mishaps in my soap-​making.
Shipping was super reasonable to Montréal, I was able to buy a big box of stuff weighing close to 10lbs and paid less than 10 $ for shipping with Canada Post. For those in the area, you can opt to pick up in person.
If you place your order in the morning, it ships out the same day– I was very thankful that they were able to add last minute items that I had forgotten. They called me right away and processed my credit card before everything was boxed.
This is an all around A+ business. Top notch service, quality, affordability — you won’t find much better!
