Made a mistake for being so trusting to a big name store like The Home Depot.
Rent a tool there and was asked to sign and initials in several places on the rental agreement without any explanation. Being in a hurry and never aware I would be signing something other than the ordinaries. It turns out that I have accepted the optional Damage Protection that cost me an extra 10% of the rental fee. And this was all done without any attempt to make aware of such «Optional» charge by the store personnel.
So you be warned and make sure that you read all the fine print before signing anything even you think this kind of shady practice would not happen in a big name store.
Not to mention the staff there was rude and unhelpful.
