I came here for lunch with a party of coworkers. The service was excellent although the food was average. The potato and bacon soup was delicious but the prime rib of beef was pretty fatty, lacked flavour and the vegetables on the side were overcooked. I’m not sure that I would return based on this experience.

Caeser Salad, French onion soup, lamb shank, salmon, rack of lamb and penne primavera were all excellent. Great wine selection, excellent service and Joelle treats you like family!

I took my eight year old daughter for a ‘fancy’ dinner while mom was in Manhattan for work. If mom got to hang in the big apple, we were going to enjoy ourselves London styles. I told the restaurant I was coming with my daughter, and they had a number of kids meals options available — they also sat us at their nicest table overlooking the river, to give my daughter the full Michaels on the Thames experience. We started with the Caesar salad, which is scratch made table side. I love garlic, and this Caesar delivered it big time. You have to get this salad at Michaels — it is a unique experience that you won’t regret. I had the prime rib, which was great. Pretty standard — The Keg is just as good — but the table side addition of sour cream and bacon my baked potato was a nice touch. Ava had a great pasta dish that was made with penne and a garlic cream sauce. I’ve had much nicer meals in Toronto, Vancouver and Montréal — but this was still a very nice experience. Though I must admit, for London fine dining I’d put The Springs ahead of Michaels. Thanks to the incredible staff at Michaels for a great meal and impeccable service.

Four of us dined here last night to celebrate my mom’s birthday and from start to finish this was an amazing experience. We came during«Londonlicious,» which meant there was a $ 25 three course prix fix menu as an option and had dishes not on their regular menu. Two of us took part in that(Cornish Hen and Lamb«En Croute») while the others ordered off the main menu(Filet Mignon and Thai Seafood Paella). Regardless of that, everyone raved about their meal. Meat & seafood was cooked perfectly, flavours were full bodied and excellent. Desserts were delicious as well. I highly recommend picking one of their table side specialties. We ordered two. The Caesar Salad(for two) and Jack’s Specialty Coffee. It’s quite the show as they deftly prepare your dish before your eyes. The salad was amazing and my only thought about the coffee sip I took was, wow… boozy. It is one of the more fancier high end restaurants in the city so it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, hence my 4 stars. Definitely a «special occasion» place for most. But if you want to have a fine dining experience in every way, this is the place.
