Returned during my December visit. The place is still buzzing with clients. BTW, there is always discount coupons in local press. I do felt that sometimes the roll is not as fresh as it could be, a lots of them were pre-​made, but there is not much choice in Magog for Sushi. So I would still go when I fancy sushi while I am in Magog. Service is efficient.

Upsides: Cool indoor vibe — high backed booth seats, unique lighting, dark wood, glass, metal. Plus, outdoor patio/​sidewalk seating.
Sushi chefs were quite friendly (& spoke English, which is helpful for French-​challenged Americans in Quebec!).
Fresh tasty sushi made right in front of us (pre-​made take out was also available). There were several all-​vegetable sushi roll options, as well as seaweed salad, miso soup, edamame, etc. Presentation wasn’t glamorous, but was delicious.
Downsides: no hot green tea, the salad came with a vinaigrette instead of a ginger/​miso dressing, and the soy sauce was prepackaged, which seemed less authentic. :(
Note: though ours *were* the only children in the restaurant, its an order-​at-​the-​counter-​casual (though trendy) type place. I believe the adults-​only atmosphere was simply a result of the food options (sushi). But, if your kids like sushi, it’s definitely a go!
