Kanaka Creek Coffee

Yummy snacks. Love all of the drink specials and how there is always something new with a cute name and interesting flavour. The Kanaka Fog is my favorite! A great place to meet up with friends and chat, very cozy. Super cute house décor and signage for sale as well! I love walking there from my house and grabbing a tea or coffee on the weekends. Baristas could be more friendly and smile more, the only reason it doesn’t get a full 5 stars from me!

First of all, the service was very friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were gluten free options. They are not kept in the display case out front, but there was a list of what was available. So make sure to ask if they have the treat you want if you don’t see it. Today, I am having a chocolate walnut loaf, it is very tasty, and has a really nice texture, especially for gluten free. I would have ordered the chicken coconut curry soup instead, but sadly, it had been made with flour. I am drinking a half sweet white café mocha, and it’s just right. The espresso has a pleasant flavour.
There is a nice atmosphere in here, clean seating area and washroom. There are a few cozy armchairs and a couch in here, as well as wooden chairs at the tables. They sell old-​fashioned candy and some cute gifts here as well. The only thing that I would change about this place is that I wish there were more savoury gluten free food options, sometimes I would rather have a healthy snack than a sweet treat.
I was hoping to find some coffee in town other than Starbucks, wanted to find a local shop. This was the first to come up in my search, and I am glad I found it. Great quality and service, and a pleasant and clean environment.

Nice little place — has a great neighbourhood feel. Had the breakfast wrap, great taste no issues. Americano was a 4 outta 5. Staff was friendly.

A 4-​star cafè for sure. I love the cozy atmosphere, reasonably-​priced food and great drinks. It’s not, say, the world’s finest coffee destination, but it’s an excellent neighbourhood spot for friends or meetings.
