Great value and service. Dropped by today and had the batteries in four of my watches replaced in under 5 minutes for $ 20. I was so impressed, I decided to have the shop owner look at my Tag which stopped working last week. It’s an automatic movement watch so I was told it would have to be sent into a shop for repairs and would take about two weeks. I got a good vibe so I decided to proceed with it.

At first you’d think the owners were slightly rude but they’re not! They are such a cute couple and were teasing each other as they changed the batteries in my 3 watches). They charged $ 5 per watch — what a steal! The place in Metro Square and First Markham both charge around $ 7-$ 10. Will be back for sure: D

I have not asked around, but I think Accurate Time must be famous among Markhamites. Why? I walked up 3 times this morning thinking I should not have to line up to do something as simple as changing a watch battery. Nope, no luck. There were customers all the time, so I gave up and lined up for my turn. This humble store counter underneath a stairway has been in business for a long time(maybe 2 decades?). The old gentleman works from Monday to Saturday. Stores closes on Sunday. More often, customers want to change watch battery, adjust length of watch belt and change watch belt. I also had a watch repaired here when an arm fell off. Today, I got a new battery for $ 5, service included. I think this is the best deal in town. People are super friendly, too.

Accurate Time is a little little shop inside Market Village. It is the place I always bring my watches to get the batteries changed! The owner/experienced technician is always nice and friendly and always get the job done! I know I can get a battery from Dollar Store to change the battery of my watches but I am more than happy to pay the starting from $ 5 he charges. Sometimes you do need to equipments open up the body of the watches… instead just prying it open with a screwdrivers or knives!
