Buttonville Fairways Driving Range

I WOULD GIVE IT A ZERO STAR IF IT WAS AN OPTION
Haven’t been back to this place in years and only went cause I was meeting a friend there to hit a bucket. As I walked pass the so called ‘club house’ to drop off my clubs and shoes beside my friend who is already on the range, I was approached by supposedly the owner and ask, ‘Hey, where do you think you’re going?’. I replied, ‘to meet my friend?’. He then asked why I didn’t purchase a bucket of balls?’. My reply back was ‘I didn’t know you have a rule where you can’t first drop off and get setup before making the purchase’. At that point, I told him ‘This is what I’m going to do, I’m going to put my clubs back in my car and never spend another dollar at this place’. He then challenged me by saying, ‘Is that a promise?’ Then started yelling at me of how I got caught sharing a bucket with my friend and told me to get the fuck out by slamming the door on me. I have never experience such poor customer service in all my life. I still had my damn golf bag on my shoulder. This owner clearly does not care for his customers and I can only urge you not to visit as I do not want the same experience I had to happen to innocent people like yourselves. I would suggest Fair Tree on Kennedy and Major Mac just a few minutes north, where people are treated like people which is more then i can say about Buttonville Fairways.

This place deserves no star. I came here at 2013 and considered one of my «go to» driving range nearby my area. This summer I went again-​what a disappointment. Terrible service-​did not know the person just standing outside the little house works there, stopped me and asked me where was I going in a judgemental tone. Got into an argument with that particular staff because my friend is inside on the driving range already, and he wouldn’t let me go tell my friend I’m here or decide are we going to stay or not. I hate to say this but I think cos my friend and I are both female and Asian, he was rude to us. Will never come back to this place ever again.

I was not impressed with the service I recieved once I entered the entrance of the driving range. Once we got out of the car and saw our friend the man would not let us enter the range to even drop off our clubs and say hello. He was very rude when we asked how much a bucket of balls. I did not appreciate the service.

One of the most well maintained chipping and putting greens I’ve seen at a driving range! It’s great to practice your short game after launching a few on the range. The green allows you to challenge yourself — the putting green is long enough for you to practice putting over little slopes and acing those long distance putts!
There aren’t any golf ball dispensing machines here. You enter this little hut, and a nice elderly lady hands you a jumbo bucket (ready on the table) for $ 14. On weekdays, they offer two for one deals!
The grass on the driving range is also very well maintained. Usually I would have a hard time even finding that little patch of grass to tee off from. At Buttonville, I had tons of grass to work with!
Tip: It may be difficult to locate since there’s no sign that actually says «Buttonville Fairways». Instead, just look for the little hut that says «GOLF».

Buttonville Fairways is my favourite driving range in the area.
Never really busy.
The best is they have both mat and grass tees for practising.
I usually get a Jumbo bucket with 150 balls.
After hitting some balls, there is also a well maintained chipping and putting area for you to work on your short game!
