Overall hotel location is good and it has alot of eateries around so make it good place to stay Now coming specific to the review, I entered the hotel and front desk was missing for 5 + mins, now the guy entered and first question is are you staying with us, I believe the person isn’t familiar with hotel mgmt basics, anyhow proceed with check in and try to grab some water and snacks but hotel market is just next to elevator so have to all the way back to front desk again. The guy swipe my card and put my cc in his pocket, on asking about cc, he is firm that he gave it back but on insisting again, he checked his pockets and same answer On asking 3 time, he checked again and found the cc from the pocket, somehow very shaddy

Room was decent for a Courtyard; however, my room was not ready for check-in despite me getting there at 4:30. This place is kind off the beaten path, and getting a cab was always a hassle. But otherwise a pleasant stay.

Excellent service. The more I stay at Courtyards the less I want to stay at the full service Marriotts. Staff was very friendly, food at the bistro was nice and fresh, rooms were immaculate, beds were comfortable.

I have been here every week for business for 3 months now. It is a typical Courtyard with amenities you might expect. Staff is first class. Now the bad. TV is unusable. You do not know the channels and it will take you five minutes to switch through them because the delay changing each channel. I rarely watch tv anyhow but gave up here. Ac units are noisy and cycle on and off constantly to make sure you stay awake. Wireless Internet is horrid. Very slow and you will get booted off three times an hour at least. The tipping point for me to post here was getting booted 5 times in an hour. See photo and get used to it. Rate may change nightly. Make sure before you book. Ice makers broken for days without notice until I mentioned it. I wish there were a real Marriott around here. Heck I’d take a Fairfield inn and save the money. No disrespect to the staff here you guys are great. Just pay attention to the building!

love being here, it has everything and more! it’s roomy, we are staying in 6 people suite! with BONUS! BALCONY! what a sweet surprise, on this summer evening. we have kids so can’t leave them alone, and have our couple moment talk, and mingle, without disturbing the kids. Receptionist are great and accommodating, but than again you stay at Marriott for this service. Will for sure be coming back!

Great location! Quietly situated behind the busy Hwy 7, this Courtyard hotel was wonderful. The staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. For such a young group of people running the place, this was a delightful surprise. As you walk in, the first thing that I noticed was that the air ventilation was great; not stuffy, and definitely not stinky, so I was happy. Check-in was quick and smooth, and as Marriott Elite members, we got a great room on the 6th floor in the corner. The hallways were bright and pretty well maintained, and our room was standard and comfortable. Bathroom was immaculate, and everything was in working order. I’m glad that Courtyard has updated their toiletries to be the Paul Mitchell brand, but now, if they could have a better hairdryer that isn’t so loud! Oh, and free water would be nice. Wi-fi was okay, though in the evening, the speed definitely slowed down, but that’s to be expected if there is a high volume of people staying here. They do have computers down in the lobby area for your use, and the speed there is definitely faster. Breakfast is a la carte here, and served 7am-10:30am; dinner is 5pm-7pm, but I never choose to eat at hotels when you have so many choices and options for food nearby! For example, if you love Taiwanese/Northern Chinese style braised beef noodle soup, check out Mei Nung Noodle in the First Markham Place shopping center. In general, there are a ton of choices at that shopping center. Before coming here, we used to normally stay at the Mississauga location, but after staying here, we think this will probably be our new haunt! Closer to Downtown Toronto(about 15 – 20 minutes), and away from the highway noise(the Mississauga one was right next to the 401, and if you weren’t careful as to which side of the building you were on, you’d definitely hear traffic noise in the evenings). For just $ 5CAD more, it’s totally worth it! Free parking, well lit, good staff, comfortable and clean bed. We were happy! Now, if they’d only give free water and have a microwave, I’d give this place 5 stars!

Yay! I get to be the first to review this hotel! My friends and i stayed here for about 4 days and love it all. It was convenient and nearby to almost all the shopping areas and restaurants. To get to downtown required about a 20-min drive, not too bad. The lobby area was so awesome that I took photos! It was very spacious. Other facilities include swimming pool, fitness center, etc. The service was really nice. The rooms were very clean. I enjoyed the stay!
