As if we haven’t had enough Dollaramas in the East Markham area, another one just opened in the Wismer Commons Plaza beside Food Basics.
This Dollarama may seem small on the outside, but the aisles actually go pretty deep, and I say it’s about the same size as the one in Box Grove. In terms of variety, it’s about the same as other stores, just in more lengthier aisles instead of wider aisles.
I know the store recently opened, but its organization needs work. The cashier I had didn’t know the price of some of the items, and he had to yell (out loud, not via mic) for someone at the back to double check the price, and seeing how the aisles are so long it took him a while to come.
Overall I was surprised they opened a Dollarama here, seeing how there’s one within 2 blocks, and 2 more within a 4 km radius. At least it’s another «dollar» (ok…discount) store option when I’m out and about.
