This place is a gem! I think I just found myself my new favourite hangout place in Markham. Located on the second floor, iDarts is spacious, clean, and super chic! The farther wall is lined with 12 Dartslive2 machines($ 1 per game per person) and they also have 2 tables that double for pool/beer pong purposes(pool is $ 2 and beer pong is free, minus the beer). Minimum fee per person is $ 5 but they only start serving food past 6pm so if you go before, expect to buy a drink. They serve a variety of beers and I personally enjoyed the Bud Light Apple(which was $ 5). As this was our first time playing darts, the employee was nice enough to show us how to use the machines. Overall, I had a really fun time here and it costed less than $ 10/person. I would definitely say that it’s an awesome place to chill with friends.

I come here a lot with my friends. It’s a pretty cool place for a few drinks, considering it’s uptown(not too many options). Pretty busy on weekends, may need a reservation. They do a lot of giveaways during sporting events. They have darts, pool tables, and beer pong tables. Initially this was a pretty Asian place, but the crowd has gotten more diverse. All-in-all, a good place to grab a tower of beer and hang out with friends.

Electronic dart boards, beer towers, and beer pong tables! This is one of the alternatives to hang out with your friends in Markham, other than the typical bubble tea shops or cafes. The darts board lanes are usually packed on weekends, sommake sure to call ahead and reserve a lane. There are two beer pong tables, which are usually full too. However, people are friendly here and all you have to do is to ask if you can play after. Staff is friendly and the music is ok. Overall, a good hangout place for those in the area!

Trendy and cool place to go with friends and hang out, have fun or catch up. All sorts of stuff you can do to keep yourself entertained it even appeals to those who don’t drink a lot and just like to have fun with the variety of table games there. I’ve been a few times so far and it’s been a good experience, the service is decent, there are waitresses who can grab your order or you could go straight to the bar and put things on your tab. There are obviously the dart machines, it’s a $ 1 to play each person for each game and they have a bunch of machines. Usually, if we want to play 4 people we just pay for 2 players and the players alternate throwing the darts. My favourite games on the dart machine are 501 and cricket, I think 301 is too easy and 701 is too hard because they limit the number of throws each player can make before the game is automatically over. They also have 2 billiards tables and sometimes they convert 1 to beer pong. They have 1 ping pong table dedicated to beer pong, but I’m sure you could play ping pong on that table if you forced yourself through all the aggressive frat type boys who love to play beer pong not at parties lol. Besides that haven’t had many diverse drinks besides the towers which hold something like 3 pitchers worth of beer. It’s a giant glass cylinder with a tap at the bottom where you can pour out your drink. It’s usually $ 50 to $ 60 depending on what kind of drink you get. Also they have tables to sit down at, couches to chill and a decent amount of room to walk and stand around. They also have dice games for those who are interested.

This place is trendy and a good spot to go to when you want to relax and have a good time! DJ tonight was amazing! Kept us dancing throughout the night! But overall, the idea of electronic darts is pretty cool in my books. It was fun to play and if you don’t reach a certain number of points, the game tells you that you failed and you have to drink… awesome! Lol They also have some bar type foods but I didn’t get to try it, but there is food. There are so many tables and the atmosphere here is nice… can’t really complain. The servers are nice and they kept making sure our drinks were full and that we didn’t need anything. I would definitely come back!

I was here last week for a charity event, and although I am not a dart player I am going to give this place 4 stars. Great service from the bartenders and the staff, great music and a very unique fun experience. If you want to try something different and have fun one night give this place a chance. The drink prices are competitive and their giant beer dispensers are something you don’t see everyday. The electronic dart boards do everything for you, all you do is play. The crowd is in the 20 to early’s thirties bracket and its actually a diverse mix of people Would I come back here again? Absolutely!

I gotta admit, I love the concept of this place! When you hear darts you automatically think oversized/obese British dudes with tiny heads wearing sponsored bowling-esque shirts on TSN or ESPN(for my American friends) during the day. The only other time I’ve engaged in games of darts was at divvy pubs where your shoes stick to the floor as you collect your darts, from a wall that appears to have been the background to the St. Valentines Day massacre(meaning, it’s so filled with holes that it looks like swiss cheese or like it was shot at by a machine fun). iDarts is far from either stereotype, think trendy lounge mixed with sophisticated modern arcade, and then pack it full of hip young(well dressed) asian 20 somethings and crank up the EDM… boom! iDarts! The space is so big it’s actually insane. There must be 20 – 30 electronic dart boards, but their walls are safe because as others have mentioned they use hard plastic tipped darts that are more likely to break themselves than cause damage to any existing structure or person. What’s more they’ve a beer pong table, and an excess of 10 – 20 booths +, I mean this place is the digital frat party of my early 20 wet dreams(and that’s saying a lot). I’ve heard through the grapevine that this place used to be a sketchy snooker hall, but they’ve definitely cleaned up the place and given it a touch of class. That said, the building they’re located in leaves something to be desired, and as I mentioned in my tip, you’re better off taking the stairs as the elevator gives me a sort of, «I think this might be my last elevator ride» vibe. I mean it’s safe but… Sapporo and Sleemans on draught and some pretty cool dart themed cocktails behind the bar, make this a spot in Markham that’s worthy of a pop by.

iDarts is a great place for drinks, darts, pool, and best of all … Beer Pong! Yes. you read that correctly. BEERPONG! They have not one… but TWO. count em… TWO huge beer pong tables that you can play on. I have come here three times and every single time my friends and I have epic stories of blurry memories! We usually always order 3 bottles because the bottles are super cheap compared to club prices and we receive the Best Service EVERY single time! The manager even gave us a free bottle for being such great customers! The dart boards are a fun way to socialize and turn them into drinking games. If you get bored, you can go play pool or beer pong or watch the game on many big screens they have around the place. They have a DJ on Weekends and the place is bumpin! Come here for a great time! You will not be disappointed!

My boys and I had an impromptu Monday night out and was looking for something to do. One of them suggested to come here as he’s been here before with some friends visiting from out of the province and had a good time. I, on the other hand, have heard a mix of things. A friend who is a York Region police officer tells me he has a few places he definitely avoids in Markham, this being one of them. Yet, I was told there was a Unilocal event here a while back, so it can’t be that bad. Having lived in the UK for a while, you’d think I would have picked up darts, but no. This was the first time I’ve ever played darts, maybe it’s also because no one should trust me with a throwing pointed object. The dart boards at iDarts are digital, so it uses plastic darts heads. You don’t need to have your own darts either, you can put a $ 5 deposit and your driving license and rent some darts, and they have replacement dart heads if they get too wonky. Each round of darts, per person is a loonie($ 1) and you can select different type of games to play. We chose to play the rounds with the most points, so it would last longer. As it was a boys night out, we also ordered some food and drinks, drinks were fine, but food was meh. We had nachos, and some wings, and they weren’t that great and the portion sizes were a bit small for how much they were charging for it. There was a female staff behind the reception desk and a staff at the bar, but didn’t really notice anyone else really working there. I’m pretty sure that the staff invited their friends and were playing with them, maybe that’s why it took at least 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, half of it was burnt. Friends also decided to go order their own drinks at the bar. I really want to give this a 2-star, but ultimately, there’s nowhere else quite like iDarts. If you just want to hang with your friends doing something pretty fun for a couple of hours without spending a whole lot of money, this is the place, just don’t order the food.

I came here the third time to this place as of yesterday. I was going to write something positive about this place but after what I had experienced last night, NOTANYMORE. The first two visits were pretty good. I was able to play darts with my friends with ease and not have to worry about getting a machine or what not. Simply just walk in ask for a machine, play and leave happy. Simple. After yesterday won’t be coming back here for awhile. Or ever. Never had to deal with so many issues at one place for practically everything. First off, what really pisses me off is that the staff at iDarts are clearly oblivious or un-trained to know there own policy and rules about their own facility/business. I came here with a couple of friends to play darts, the front desk staff she said they were all reserved at the time so we couldn’t play, but she suggested if we wanted to play beer pong we can play until one of the machines opens up. Ok fine, so we went to play to kill time. Within the middle of our game one of the waitresses came up and told us that we have to wrap up our game because another group had ‘reserved’ the table… So we didn’t think anything unusual, so we finished our game quickly and went to grab a seat with our beers to wait until a machine opened up. After some time and nothing opened up, my friend went to the front desk again to ask if we just use a ‘reserved’ dart machine until someone comes, apparently that night every single fucking machine was«reserved’. And somehow he had mentioned about the beer pong table and the girl at the front desk said that there is no such thing as reserving the beer pong table, it’s just first come first serve policy. WTF?! So why did the waitress to tell us to leave because someone had booked it? When there is no such thing as bookings for a beer pong table. Pretty much one staff member is telling us one thing and other is telling us something different… Makes no sense. We tried to go to an available dart machine and some dooche came up to us and was just being an asshole, and telling us that he had reserved the machine and the whole area that consisted of 2 other machines and that we couldn’t cant play in this section. And they were only using 1 machine amongst their entire group of 12. AFTER that, more issues that arised was when we finally had found a machine that no one was using and we were eyeing the machine for a good 15 minutes we decided to go use it. And when we had put our money in some other asshole comes up and says that we took his machine and that he had paid money already… So wth did you leave the machine if you had put money in it then? And he demanded that we pay back for his game… I’ve never had to deal with so many god damn issues in 1 place ever. I really hope iDarts in the future gets proper staff and train them better instead of getting airhead pretty faced waitresses who know nothing about the business and rules. As well maybe they can fix there ‘Reserved’ policy. Since everything is ‘Reserved’ all the time… Just ridiculous.

2+2 is uhh. is. eerrrr… Look throwing sharp pointy objects and trying to do math while consuming a few beers is just not best way of spending an evening, but if you replace the math with machines that even light up to tell you what to aim at, and have soft pointy tips instead, it becomes a fantastic idea. At $ 1 a game per person, it’s cheaper than most things in life. Had a blast and can’t wait to come back and finally get 180 someday.

iDarts is a great place to hang out and play casual darts with a group of friends. The prices are fairly affordable to play darts. This includes a $ 5 deposit for three darts for one person and of course the cost is refunded to you upon return. The games on the dart machine cost $ 1 per person up to a total of four players. There are a ton of different game modes including mini games that really make the experience more enjoyable. Within the establishment are tables to hang out as well as beer pong tables for larger groups. Surprisingly enough, there are people who play beer pong on these tables. Besides the use of space, the staff is friendly and you could always get new dart tips for free if you happen to break the ones you were using. In terms of availability of the dart machines, I would recommend calling ahead of time or to reserve a machine. During weekends, the location fills up fairly quickly and you may end up waiting 20 – 30 minutes for a machine.

Went to try out this place again on Friday night for friend’s birthday and I must say I was a little disappointed with the experience. We ordered 2 of the giant beers that came in liquid dispensers(probably 6 litres of beer) which was pretty unique. The beer was not too watered down and not too pricey compared to if you were to order elsewhere. However, the manager demanded us to tip more after we paid and tipped. Mind you weren’t stingy about the tip either. He was also rude about it. And since when did a certain amount become mandatory? We weren’t please with this experience as we were all here to have a good time and left after we finished the beer. Last time I came here for an event I had a blast and was very interested to come back again. I must say I’m disappointed. I hope if I come here again next time, I would have the same experience as I did in the event.

I have to admit that I am sneaky and play dirty when coming to any competitive games. And I don’t know how to add or subtract correctly when I am drinking. Those interactive electronic dart machines at i Darts might be the answer to my problem. I just need to aim and shoot and the machine would calculate everything for me and even have lights telling me where to aim.(I was really trying to aim at the light!!) As a beginner, it is definitely fun to play with all those different games. I would be back soon and order one of those funky beer towers and play some more darts with my Unilocal friend. I think he still don’t believe I can really beat him with my luck! Next time we play for a round of beer tower! And apparently another location i Darts Edge is opening soon in Thornhill.

Recently came here for a Unilocal event. When you first enter the building it looks like an empty strip mall with a Chinese restaurant on the side. Go up to the second floor and turn right to see where the party is at. There were electronic dart machines lining one wall and enough or everyone to play a game or two without much waiting. The machines are straight forward, easy and fun to play. The darts were sturdy ones with plastic backings and not the paper ones that always fall off. We had a slightly competitive game between 4 teams and it was definitely a lot of fun when you don’t have to write on a chalk board or do mental math in between. Drink options were great from the bar in the right hand corner. We also played a game of beer pong with water filled cups instead of beer, the table was on point and the game lasted quite long since we had about 12 players rotating on the two teams. The staff here were friendly and attentive. Overall a great venue, definitely large enough for big parties!~

I never imagined that darts could be so much fun. iDarts is an awesome place if you are planning to hang out with a group of friends. You can play with as many as four people at a time. There is plenty of choice between different dart games. The dart boards are also completely electronic and they have a camera catching all the crazy moments while you are playing! The place is a bit hard to find since it is located in an industrial area. It is on the second floor of a building which has a few other restaurants. The best part is they also have a bar in the lounge plus an amazing Tapas restaurant called Ora right beside it. And as you might have guessed it is even more fun playing darts when everyone is tipsy ;)(don’t worry those darts are not sharp at all. the pointed ends are made up of some synthetic rubber-like material). An added bonus is the beer pong table! The wait staff and bartenders are very friendly and super nice too. Definitely a place to consider for a fun night out! The only turn off was that there was only one washroom in the main lounge. The washrooms outside were not clearly marked. This can get pretty frustrating when the place is crowded.

Who knew darts would be the new thing? The stretch of Woodbine Avenue between Steeles &HWY7 holds some true Markham gems of both culinary, and leisurely aspirations. Apparently, iDarts is an international brand with locations in the United States, Australia, Malaysia, and perhaps some other countries. Normally, I would not associate darts as a popular social activity for young people. It’s in the same category as pool, snooker, and other sports that reminds me of cigarette smoke. This venue proves once and for all that it’s not the sport, it’s how you market it. The arcade dart machines(yes machines) are fully interactive, and the target and the darts themselves are not conventional tools used for the activity. The needle part is actually some kind of a synthetic material, and the target is made of something even more mysterious. All I know is, it works. You may purchase real darts from here, an you’d be utterly shocked when you learn that a professional set of(4) darts can cost up to $ 200. Lucky, the services and the booze here is nowhere near that range. They have these beer towers in the shape of lamps with a illuminated thing int he middle, it’s just makes beer look so much more gorgeous. Almost as gorgeous as the smiley faces that brings them to you. iDarts feels somewhat like a nightclub, but in a good way. The music is anything but overbearing, the lighting is just perfect, and if there are options for none dart enthusiasts. Two pool tables, a bar, a full sized beer bong table, and just tables for drinking with friends. Beer pong table! What is this, a college frat house? I think I love this place. The machines require you to purchase credits, and this is very much of a bar. Considering the mixture of unique activities offered in this; Canada’s first iDarts, the mixture of all the services is just as good as it gets. What could be more exciting on a Saturday night than getting hammered while throwing pointy objects designed to penetrate solid surfaces within close proximity of one another, in the company of good music and some seriously cute waitresses?
