JC’s Pub & Eatery

The restaurant is still relatively new; the waitress said they hadn’t been open for 6 months yet. The reviewer above mentioned that these guys had photocopier paper menus, that has since changed; their menu looks complete and professional now. I’m not sure where the «Eurasian» part comes in, because the food is basically your regular pub food (wings, beer, burgers, steaks, etc). That being said, both the food and service was amazing! Granted, we were the only ones sitting in this small establishment, but the waitress was very attentive and came and checked up a few times to make sure everything was okay.
As mentioned earlier, the food was surprisingly good. My friend got a burger and fries, and was impressed with the quality and taste. I ordered off their all-​day breakfast menu, and got steak + eggs (also comes with toast and hash browns). The food didn’t seem rushed, and the flavors were great! «Made with love» as I called it, because I wiped the plate clean and still wanted more.
They do have specials during the week, and I’ll definitely be taking more friends to check some of these out (50 cent wing day on tuesday, ½ off shots on thursday, etc.). My only wish is, since this place calls itself a pub, they should have a few more TVs on the walls! Currently there is one TV above the bar, but if you’re not facing that direction your out of luck. This is in a great location too, as its only real competition for a «pub» is the Boston Pizza (maybe the Kelseys) across the street, but the food here is MUCH better in my opinion. Great little spot in Markham!

We visited this restaurant before Christmas, and I kept forgetting to review it. So finally, here is my review.
This was a rather unique experience. The pub is supposed to be «Asian-​European» fusion, but it seemed like more of a «traditional» bar run by South Asian owners. It’s not a huge place, but the décor is pretty nice. Since it had just opened, we were the only ones there. The owner is hilarious — he kept getting us to select songs on the laptop hooked up to the speakers and wanted us to dance, and we indulged him for a bit. It was a bit strange, but all in good fun!
Given the menus were on photocopied paper, I wasn’t expecting much, but the burger was actually very good.
Since this business was newly opened when we visited, I’ll return to update my review.
