Menchies Frozen Yogurt

— too many kids like… Always IN a rush and running around. I get it… the appeal but the clientele needs to calm them down

Munchies is always my choice for dessert especially when I want something like ice cream. There so many different locations which makes it convenient when you want either after dinner dessert or even a place to hang out with friends.
They offer different flavors throughout the year, keeping certain favorites like the cake batter and pure tart. The new flavors they came out with this summer was the raspberry Greek yogurt, nutella, red valet and watermelon sorbet.
Although none of them made it on my list, maybe it will make it on yours?
This location also has the popcorn machine which you can mix spices and seasonings into the container of popcorn and shake it up to your liking.
They also have a large space for you to sit inside or if you prefer the outdoor weather, they have a large garage door that opens up so you can catch the breeze as well as the sunshine while under shaded area.
Employees that work here are fairly friendly and the location is kept fairly clean.

I came here on my birthday expecting a free frozen yogurt. Employee informed me that I need a smilage card for that. He said that I can still get a free Yogurt within 2 weeks of my birthday.
In case you are not familiar with menchies there is only one staff on duty and pretty much you have to make the Yogurt yourself and you will be charged by the weight of your cup. Today is Friday and so I got a free waffle cup. Yogurt is tasty and so is all the toppings and fudge. While the waffle looks boss in photos it did not taste that good. Plus it was making it a little hard for me to fill up the cup with yogurt swirls.
When I asked the employee about the 15% Unilocal discount he seemed to have no idea what I was talking about at first. Then informed me that I already got a free waffle so I can’t get both deals at the same time.

I’ve been to other menchies location and this is by far my favorite one. There’s enough indoor and partial outdoor seating available to all patrons. The employees are very friendly and easy going!
Similar to all other menchies you have the option to sample various yogurts using their mini shot cups before you pick your flavor. Once you’ve got your choice of flavor its off to choosing your condiments.
I ended up trying their Greek blackberry yogurt which was delish!!! Though it was deliciously healthy I decided to keep the healthy option opened and drizzled some blueberries and pineapple!
Iriana on the other hand played it tres-​safe with vanilla yogurt, with skor piece, roasted almonds and a chocolate browne… it was alllllriiight: p
The only drawback to this place is the fact the outdoor seating area attracts a lot of flies and mosquitoes… but again it didn’t really bug us…

One of the most friendly and clean Menchies location I’ve been to!
The cashiers were very helpful, especially when my friend wanted more mochi (what a fatty!) and the bin was empty. I also love that they have two types of peanut flavours — peanut butter smores & creamy peanut butter.
Parking was quite easy, since people shopping at the dollar store next door come and go pretty fast. This location is also not as busy as the other locations, which is a relief! I was able to find a clean seat and enjoy my froyo!
Tip: Definitely register your smiles card! 25% off your froyo when you present a registered card along with a student card! Also get 25 smiles on your card when you register. Hooray for free froyo!

This place lets you mix and match different flavours of frozen yogurt. You control the size and how much you want. I like that it is not too sweet. I found kids love the colorful and adorable plastic spoons. A very creative business idea.
I am not craving for their frozen yogurt all the time. However, it is so close to my place and therefore it is a good excuse to take a nice walk there after dinner.

Is frozen yogurt… cool again? I think so as the place was busy and they have great frozen yogurt and toppings

It’s hard not to go to a Menchies that my friend 4 starred it.
Free samples all offers for everyone. even the drive by cars. and that includes a group of fireman!
On a nice day, sitting under the shaded area with the garage door opened up all the way letting the breezes in…
Superfriendly cashiers.
Parking lot maybe quite busy with all the restaurants in the plaza. Use the traffic light to get in and out of the plaza will be the safest route. Bayview can be really really busy during rush hour and prone to accidents!

It’s hard not to love frozen yogurt… especially when it says fat free ! This location just opened this week and it was already full of people. It’s especially popular with students. Guess it makes sense with a school practically across the street. Lots of them were just trying the flavours without purchasing any yogurt.
They had a lot of flavours available (similar to the Markham/​Warden location). Red velvet (my fav!), peanut butter, cake batter, chocolate, green tea (icks), etc. Course, there’s ample toppings as well! Like heaven!
Cashiers: All very friendly. However, the place is new & they were obviously just trained. Waiting to pay took a little longer than I’d like.
I liked the setup of the place. It can open up like a garage door with a little space where people can enjoy their yogurt outside or just open the door & have it inside.
