LOL. Here’s a tip — clubs in markham just don’t work out. Went here ONCE, and vowed never again. Here’s the good– the décor is BEAUTIFUL! They are very clean and spacious and everything is gorgeous– fog lights, strobes, amazing lighting etc. The bar is clean(not sticky like most) and bartenders are nice. Bathrooms are clean and nicely set up. The booths look big and spacey, which is a nice change from the crowded small booths in downtown. Also! Free parking! Most clubs don’t have stuff like that, so that’s always a bonus. Plus, females had free cover, so I was pretty happy about that. The bad… Oh god, it is so empty. Markham is such a bad place for clubbing experiences. Such a shame, because it would be awesome if more people came. Even at prime time(1am-3am) it was only like 1⁄5 filled — there were these creepy old men following my friend and I around and it was so hard to escape them, which is one of the reasons we left early. I thought it would have more people, because I had looked at the facebook pictures before, but after realized. oh my god, they were so angled to make it look like the club is actually populated. The DJ was really bad as well, didn’t play any recognizable songs for the longest time and if he did, it was only like 1 minute of a badly remixed mainstream song. It tries really hard to be an EDM/Uniun-type club but it fails badly. I want clubs to be full of life(guvernment, union etc.) but instead, at any given time that night, there were less than 10 people on the dance floor and the crowd is really really old. Creepy. I guess the crowd is too old and fobby for me– it’s like a throwback to the mainland. I’d say they had good intentions and mission in creating this club, but it’s totally a waste of money and time to go.(Pretty sure the cover is $ 20 for males– while aria/easy, etc is $ 15 or under…) It’s ridiculous how a club in a city like this would try to charge more than a club in the entertainment district.
