My Kind of Pastry Chef

They advertised in the local newspaper as having over 20 kinds of cheesecake, what they dont advertise is that they buy these cakes from other bakeries. I went there to try it out and buy dessert for my family.
They dont have any whole cakes available, only slices. So I thought, why not try a slice of each cake that looks appealing. So got 7 slices. The cakes are very spongey and sticky (the top layer of the lemon cheesecake, cherry cheesecake, mango mousse and green tea mousse cakes all came off when you pick it up).
On top of that, I clearly asked if there were raisins in the carrot cake. Se said no, its a plain carrot cake. Plain carrot cake does not have raisins in it. In fact, it is not a plain carrot cake, it has raisins in it (yuck). The cake was dry and hard (stale), and guess was sitting on the shelf for a long time. On top of the fact she didnt even know what ingredients was in it, because it was bought from somewhere else.
No one was in the store, so don’t think this business will last very long in Markham.
