Pizza Hut

It’s a pizza hut. They make pizzas. 5 stars. The end. Stop reviewing chain restaurants, idiots.

This location has been here for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Markham Pizza Hut was always a special treat as a family. From their deep dish pizzas, to garlic bread and salad.
Coming back much of it hasn’t really changed, except for the fact that it looks small (perhaps I just got bigger lol). In addition the place was clean.
My buddy and I decided to have their «2 can dine» special. This included salad, garlic sticks, and pizza.
Portions was sufficient and price was reasonable at $ 25 minus the soft drinks we ordered.
Overall, pizza hut is about the same everywhere. The service was good, and the staff is very customer service oriented.

sometimes you just crave unhealthy, cheesey, greasy, delicious pizza and pizza hut always delivers.
the pasta isn’t bad either. Caesar salad is as it should be, simple and not too fancy.
the bread sticks i don’t care too much for though nor do i like pizza crust.
but yea, im sure everyone’s been to a pizza hut before. and if you’re free on a weekdays, go take advantage of the lunch buffet cus it is an awesome bang for the buck.

We came for buffet lunch today. I don’t eat-​in much at this location, usually a few times a year.
We arrived at 12 and it wasn’t that busy but it began to fill up. You might think that the buffet is a great deal but it’s not really. There isn’t much choice at all. There is a bowl of romaine leaves (salad part), 4 different salad dressings and croutons. There is a cold pasta salad and 1 hot (warmish)tomato pasta bake. Then there’s breadsticks and a choice of 3 pizzas. The pizzas have hardly any toppings and because it was a bit busy today, the pizzas were all snapped up pretty fast. There was a wait for fresh pizza to come out. Lastly, there’s a sweet, cinnamon and iced bread thing. I’ve never eaten it, ever.
I’ve been to pizza hut buffets, abroad, and they have a much larger selection of foods with ²⁄₃ different buffet stations. This location has this sad, small 1 station buffet. I think they should either get another station or give up on the buffet lunch.
The kiddies always seem to enjoy it because they like serving themselves but I wouldn’t really recommend coming unless you just want to eat a big heap of carbs for only $ 7.99. Service ain’t the best but it ain’t the worst. At least we got a drink refill today! Whahay!
Parking is also really bad at this mall. Trying to find a place to park to pick up takeaway is impossible.

If you want your day to get worse, then by all means go here. I came here on a whim while one of my crewmembers went in beforehand to grab us a seat. As the rest of my team walk in, the hostess greeted us but we told her we already had someone waiting for us. As we found the table, I noticed as I sat down that the bill, drinks and mess from the guests before us were not cleaned up after yet and my crewmember was just seated at that table for a good minute. On top of that, the hostess — who was an elderly black woman (not trying to be racist but I just don’t remember her name!) started pointing towards the sign at the bottom of her stand that said «Wait to be Seated» and gave us a word that came with a hint of rude undertones. After reconfirming with her that our crewmember was told to be sat here since she wasn’t the one to seat my crew, she apologized, told us she would file a complaint and seat us at a more suitable table. Upon walking to this other booth, I overhear her complaining to another waitress in front of the other customers which I didn’t think was the most professional idea, however we noticed another couple sitting at the booth in front of us and it seemed as if everything was fine. Up until our order was about to take place, the hostess (black elderly lady who is now our waitress too) goes up to the couple a while after we were seated to deliver their food; the older gentleman wasn’t too thrilled with the wait time so he started shouting «No! No! No!» and we overheard him saying that they «were sitting down, waiting for 25 minutes» which I felt horrible about, but in this day and age, service is still everything. She suggested the meal would have been «on the house» but he still refused the service — I guess it was that bad =s After trying to flag her down when we wanted to place our order, when we flagged her down to order, she said «Yes I’ll be right there» but with somewhat of a snarky attitude yet when she comes up to you she acts all fake and pushing the niceness on you. It felt a little condescending to say the least and it didn’t make me feel comfortable that she was our waitress who acted like that towards us, however I tried to be nice to her every time I ordered so she wouldn’t spit in my food lol
Other than that, we ordered a small Caesar salad, honey garlic chicken wings and two medium pizza’s — Hawaiian and Italian style (I think it was called) but anyhow, the Italian pizza was fairly decent and had no issues with that particular pizza. The Hawaiian did seem a bit on the dark side and just felt like you couldn’t really tell that it was Hawaiian because the cheese became so brown and dark over the pineapples and ham so yeah, didn’t have much of a presentation either.

We ordered the panormous pizza combo and just because the drink wasn’t selected the manager reaz did not honour it when it comes with the combo that was done online. Even our receipts shows the 2L drink. Do not go to This location. Very rude and no customer service at all !

Not enough staffs. Table are dirty and sticky. Worst thing is lady washroom doors doesn’t work. Not to say locking the doors. The doors won’t even close probably.

Staff suffers from tunnel vision and does not look around. Dirty tables are left uncleaned. A bunch of customers waited at the entrance for 10+ minutes without being seated or even acknowledged, while empty tables were available. We left for another restaurant.
