Sugar Plum Salon

Tucked inside the Oggi Hair Salon, the business was hard to find because they don’t have a big visible sign. Upon arrival for my Brazilian sugaring appointment, I was greeted. I waited no longer than 5 — 10 minutes before being received by Laura herself. Laura was sweet and very warm! We went into a private room where Laura sanitized and prepped the cot for me. The experience was very positive. I’m not a shy girl but Laura made me feel very comfortable. We held conversation and she was very quick. Yes, it DID hurt and Laura was very honest about it. She did one side, then the other, then told me to roll to my side, and the roll to the other side (all the while holding a conversation!)
I would definitely come back for another round and was very pleased with the experience. I am surprised that I could not find a review online about Sugar Plum Salon. Since this was my first sugaring, I was so eager to show my fiancé that I completely left and forgot to tip! I am hoping a review of the good experience I had there will make up for it until I return. The entire process did not take longer than half and hour (it zooms by fast!)
VISIT #2: My fiancé went to have his back sugared. It was a great experience for him overall. He rates it ⁴⁄₅. (–1 because he didn’t expect the pain, lol virgin, and he broke out in some back pimples a day later). Laura was great as expected and she provided some mud for when we got home to take care of his back! We’ve recommended a friend to have his back sugared here too and I am going back tonight before we head off for our wedding. I think I will be turning into a repeat customer!
It really is rare, I think, to find something you totally love from just a Groupon!
