Glenn Symons has been working this property since 2008 and gets better every year. This is a small operation, though he has plans to enlarge both the business and the tasting facility, which currently is just a table in his production shed until the new building is completed. But don’t let that stop you from stopping by and snapping up whatever wine he might have left. High quality, small production means the wine sells out pretty quickly. Last year Glenn started making cheese, at first just to accompany the wines in the tasting room, but now for sale to the public as well. try his Lighthall Cheese — yummy! My personal favourite of his wines is the Progression — a sparkling wine made from Vidal grapes — it is a wonderful accompaniment to seafood, or heck, just to drink by itself! Enjoy!
