Osmow’s

Basically the same as others have said. Food: good. Service: bad.
Ordered a regular beef shwarma with extra garlic sauce (which they charge for), and it was delicious, and a good size to boot. Unique taste too; best way I can describe it is like a Big Mac meets Shwarma, and I mean that in a good way.
Downside was waiting 18 minutes. For a shwarma. Granted it was busy, but in those scenarios you have to up your customer service, and explain that there might be a delay before the order is placed. It was especially aggravating to watch people who had ordered after me get their order before mine due to disorganization behind the counter.
Would I go again? Maybe, but only if it were fairly empty.

Love their cart style chicken on the rocks and chicken on stix! the sauces are yummy and I always take extra. They’re bit slow on the service but that bcos they’re always busy and hire young students. I have no issues with that.
I enjoyed the souvlaki and osmow’s special with grilled pineapple… Its always crowded and have huge line ups. The food is good, they have decent sitting but you have to be patient!

AWFUL SERVICE. First, I tried calling to place my order in advance, but nobody answered the phone after 4 tries. I then went in person and ordered 6 dishes, and they messed up 4 of them — after waiting for 30 minutes! It took 5 minutes for them to clarify and enter my order into the register, so I’m not sure how they still messed it up. The food was good, but not worth the ridiculous wait. The staff is incompetent, and their system of processing orders is dreadful. I would call to complain if I thought they’d answer the phone! I will never give this place my business again. Pathetic.

Bad service, my order was not delivered in full and when I told them I was told to wait for my turn.

I had their chicken shawarma which was pretty good but the chicken skewers were half cooked and pink from the inside these people really need to work on their customer service and how they are managing things behind the counter! Totally disorganized

Best shawarma around. We used to go to the one in Streetsville Mississauga but since moving to Milton we discovered this one and it is just as good. Con: it can be really busy and a long wait. Pro: shawarma is amazing and worth the wait.

Tasty food but lose the points on the horrible customer service. Even when you call in expect to wait as long as 5 mins without a word. The south Asian lady and the cook are great they’re the only reason why I do come back seldomly at slow times. It’s a shame even other locations expect to wait avoid Mississauga locations. Improve your service and results will sky rocket…

I like the wraps. They are full of flavor and very filling! The restaurant itself could use some work– its like like a high school cafeteria from 1999. I am not sure why the reviews are not that good. The service was fast the staff just gets straight to business they never engage in conversation but this is not a formal dining restaurant anyways.

It was good, okay not great, one diner had on the rocks and it had way too much sauce and paprika for their liking, The rest of us had had a couple of plates and a sandwich with the fattouch salad which had way too much paprika which seems to be their signature as others have mentioned it is way too hot or spicy to taste the flavour of the main items. The meat and salad were done properly and would likely taste very good if they were covered with sauce and spices.

The food was terrible, portions were small, and service was slow.
I ordered two shawarma on ice (same as On the Rocks except sub the rice for salad). I was not impressed at all. Food did not taste as good as I was hoping and the portions were so small compared to other shawarma spots.
I usually get this order as well as other menu items from Pita Nutso at Bronte & Derry and I have never had an issue. On top of that, from Pita Nutso, I can only finish half of the platter I ordered because the size is enormous. Same order from Osmow’s, and the size was nowhere near as large and was consumed entirely (despite my displeasure).
I would not recommend this place since there are other peers in town with far better food and service.

I move out west from the Maple abt 1 yr ago and have been searching for ethnic foods to satify my cravings. My usual places in Vaughan were Grill 4 U and Sofra Grill. I gave Osmow’s 2 tries and was disappointed both times. I tried the chicken shawrma plate — was swimming in the greasy mayo based sauce they try to pass as tahini?! — eneded up in the garbage. Went back after a while for a sharwma sandwihc (tried to keep things simple) and it just lacked flavour — all i tasted was grease and more grease. Had 1 bite of thebaklava and that went straight into the garbage too. Disappointing, wil not go back.

Process have gone up (board still does old prices, go figure) and Service has tanked to an all-​time low. Downright rude. They won’t even serve tap water. Start away from this place.

One of the hottest sauces ive tried ever. Best food. great service fresh everything. U gotta try them.

first time i went for lunch at this location. nasty dirty old filthy food they gave me. the rice was old (left over from last night). he mixed it with the fresh one from another container and chewy chicken.
very disgusted by the food quality. will never return and will tell all my family and friends not to go there.
for the halal only guests. you might want to consider a different place as they offer beer and alcohol on premises. so make your choice wisely.

Chicken on the rocks is gross but their pitas are really quite good. Combo #4 is the way I like it; just wish they offered a proper thick garlic dip. That liquid stuff that Toronto seems to love is gross. Fattoush was half lettuce, half onion.
Got pita, fries, salad for under $ 13 with tax. Couldn’t eat it all.

Food is good, service is fast as well and chicken on the rocks tastes amazing mainly because of the sauces. Keep in mind their medium and hot are very spicy.
Their philly cheese steak is also a must try on the menu, the regular is a bit small so get the large, you won’t be disappointed.

I am a big fan of this place, chicken on the rocks is my favorite! Sometimes they get pretty busy, but thats okey… food is delicious!

My husband picked up a shawarma wrap and a kebob dinner.
Shawarma wrap was for me.
He asked for specific toppings. Which we got.
However, when I bit into it, all I tasted was FIRE!
There was so much damn hot sauce, when the hubby specifically asked for MEDIUM. and trust me, I can take spice! but this was just ridiculous.
Not to mention the hot sauce did not taste good. it was just a VERY strong dry spice.
Also, there was NO tahini in the wrap. It was by far the DRIEST shawarma wrap I have ever had. Simply disgusting.
I was not able to finish it.
I will never go back.
I’d rather drive back to mississauga and eat at isis grill or lazeez.
Much more appetizing.

if you give this place more than 1 star, you probably dont know what a good shawarma wrap is supposed to taste like.
P. S. hubby tried finishing it for me, his exact words «this is the worst shawarma I have ever had».

Great little place, gives so much meat for the amount of money. I like this place because the line is so much shorter. The streets vile location and Milton one are equidistant from each other, however I choose this one because it’s faster even tho the streetsville one tastes a bit better.
UPDATE: Place has gone down the drain. Much lower quality much lower portions don’t go

Love the food here, it’s not as good as the mississauga location but the service is a lot faster. It would get 4 – 5 stars if it wasn’t for my last 2 experiences. I work hard, lunch is about relaxing over good food however listening to the staff screaming out loud in Arabic during your whole lunch makes you leave with a headache.
