Went to the location in Burlington and was in heaven. It’s so hard to find healthy prepared food with MEAT. There are so many vegetarian and vegan places, but true Paleo places are rare. I tried any of the hot food dishes and loved them all. Brought some home to my picky family — including you kids– and everyone loved it. The protein bars and sweets were also a hit. I even ordered my 13 year old cousins birthday cake — carrot — and everyone devoured it! No one believed it was Paleo! Will be back again!

We’re lucky to have Primal Cravings in Milton. It’s a niche – you probably won’t look to eat here unless you’re trying to eat paleo, eat healthier, eat to perform. But it’s a low cost, high quality option. The food always tastes good, and there are plenty of meal plan options or frozen options if you want help to change your eating. The owner is very personable. There is no seating, it is truly takeout only!

Primal Cravings is pretty decent. The owner is a little unique and can be a bit off-putting, which is unfortunate. The food is kind of hit and miss. I had the breakfast special, which includes meat, eggs, and paleo pancakes. The bacon was really good, but the egg«quiche”-type things were meh… It’s basically just egg baked in a muffin pan, and you can taste the cooking oil spray from the baking. I’ve done it at home and was hoping for something a little more. The chocolate banana bread was okay, but I guess you shouldn’t expect a lot from a paleo place in the way of sweets. I would go back, but it isn’t a go-to spot for me.

I’ve been going to Primal Cravings since they opened their first location in Milton. Aside from hot meals, their offerings have expanded to include Paleo doughnuts, bundt cakes, cookies, and some Paleo friendly pantry items. I’ve placed large orders for their bagels as my coworkers were interested in trying them. Also doughnut orders went over very well. Sandy is really passionate about what she does and makes Paleo friendly(naturally gluten-free) food accessible at a reasonable price. A large meal costs $ 10.00 and can feed 1 – 2 people or three small meals. Try taking that same $ 10.00 to the most popular fast food joint in Canada and see what that buys you(poor-nutrient loaded calories, sugar, transfats etc.) Their newest location in Burlington is smaller than the Milton one. They were baking a batch of fresh seed bagels and chocolate chip($ 2.50 each) My favourite ones are the seed, cinnamon, blueberry, and chocolate chip. They might have also had a raspberry one as well at one point. I purchased seed bagels to bring back for my family and made a delicious sandwich with one. They’re pretty filling so just a half of a bagel will do. Being a Paleo food place, there’s no flour like rice or sorghum used in their products. I’ve also tried their house made protein bars($ 4.00 each — chocolate chip, chocolate blueberry) which tastes just like a brownie/blondie. It’s pretty tasty! 4 stars to include their food and a very reasonable price point. I wish her venture continued success!

This is my lunch spot when I don’t bring mine to work. It’s great to be able to get a real meal made with pretty clean, healthy food. The baked goods are very yummy too. Tonnes of value and the owner is really nice. I just wish they would regularly post on social media what they are serving at lunch and dinner. I will be back!

Really happy that Primal Cravings are in Milton! I have been Gluten Free for over a year and it’s so nice to be able to grab a good lunch. I’ve tried so many of their dishes and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend them!

This place bills itself as a «Paleo & Gluten Free meals and treats». Apparently Gluten Free people are locked in some sort of battle to the death with vegans or something. But I don’t have a dog in that fight. I’ve been in a couple times and today picked up the chicken shawarma dish. It’s shredded chicken breast in a spicy sauce and served on top of a set of sliced veggies, so it’s probably pretty good for you. The proprieter sells it as super spicy, but it’s not that hot, but it is tasty. They’ve also go gluten free dishes of various types(bages & stuff) as well as a couple chilis and some other rotating dishes. It’s been accepted by the locals, since everytime I go in the owner tends to say«This is what we have, this is what we’re sold out of». I will be visiting for lunches in the future for sure. Good stuff.
