I went to Toss Thai with high expectations based on reviews. The food was alright but nothing overly special. I found the pad Thai to be a little sweeter than I would like and the soups were kind of bland. I may try again for other items, but I have to say I much prefer the dishes at ThI House III on Main St.

One of my favourite Thai places around! Much better than I would have expected for a strip-mall location, both the food and the décor. I’m thrilled to see that they’re doing a healthy business, love it when a good business get rewarded for doing things right.

I am always looking for great Thai food and Toss Thai certainly does not disappoint! The food here is amazing and the service is not only fast, but also very good. I think it is part of a chain of restaurants and usually I would not eat at a «fast food» type Thai place, but I have been pleasantly surprised by this location. I usually order take-out and it is ready within 10 minutes. They also offer table service, and have lots of seating available. I definitely plan on returning the next time I’m craving some great Thai food! :)

Visited with cousins when we were visiting them in Milton and were happily surprised at the quality and taste of the food. It looks like a clean but ordinary strip mall chain, quick food restaurant, but is, in actuality a much better than average Thai food restaurant. I started with a cup of Thai Pumpkin soup, which was served piping hot in a rather generous cup. I thought that it would make a very good option for a quick lunch on a cold day. We also ordered the Toss Thai appetizer platter for the table. WIth spring rolls, satay and fish cakes, my favorite turned out to be the refreshing mango salad. We then shared some entrees family style — Chili Chicken, Crispy Ginger Beef, Nyonya Vegetable Curry and Chicken and Mushroom Fried Rice. Everything was served hot and was yummy. The bill came to less than $ 70 for 5 people which was a great price for some surprisingly good food.

Toss thai might not have the most authentic tasting food, but you know what, its still good. The basil chicken rice was flavorful and had a lot of chicken in it. The pad thai was very decent with an above average flavor and sauce. It could have been a tad hotter. The reason being is that they really try to rush the food out. It came out so fast. I couldnt believe it even when the food arrived after maybe 2 – 3 minutes. I suggest for them to slow it down a bit and make the food hotter. Service was good and quick. Overall, a solid 4 stars and a recommend to try this place out if your near the Toronto Premium Outlet mall.

Definitely a hidden gem in the town of milton! Toss thai is a lovely establish that serves great authentic thai food. I especially enjoyed the crispy ginger beef and Tom Yum soup. The curries are really good and I love their chicken & cheese wontons. Décor is simple yet bright and welcoming. Service is on point. Definitely will be back!

Used to be a favourite for a couple meals, unfortunately their care and quality has gone down. I have ordered twice now and been disappointed with either flavours or quality(and we always order the exact same thing). It’s not bad food, but not what I have been used to for the past year or so since we have been going there.

0 out of 5!!! I’m not sure what other people have ordered, but this restaurant is neither fusion not Thai food. It is an obviously family –owned establishment, which is awesome! However, the taste of the food needs much improvement. We ordered the fresh coconut which came out in the entire fresh coconut — awesome! We were excited for the food. The Tom yum soup was flavoured with fish sauce and vinegar. This is not what soup should taste like. The pad Thai was too sour and too saucy– again not how pad Thai should taste like. Mango salad was bad — how do you screw this one up!!! I am asian myself, and I applause the hardworking ethic of everyone. But to attempt to make fusion Chinese cuisine and spin it off as Thai food is unfortunate, to say the least.

We planned to get some dinner in Milton today and we were craving some Thai. Of course, using my handy Unilocal app, I saw Toss Thai which had pretty good reviews. We decided to check it out and see what’s great about it. The place seemed pretty new rather than a lot of the older looking restaurants around Milton. Service wasn’t very good. My girlfriend asked a few questions about the menu and one man seemed as if he didn’t understand what we were asking. We wanted to know what the name of the dish in a picture was. Maybe he was new, but at least we went to get help. The lady who helped him answered our question but seemed to have no patience when explaining. However, with this bad experience, there was one older lady who took our dishes away at the end who was so sweet with her smile and took our plates away as soon as we finished. As for the food, I ordered kalbi and a naan. The portion was pretty big, but it was too saucy compared to other places I’ve been to. The naan was pretty good and done differently from others I’ve had before. Not sure if it was intended to be, but the naan was also pretty greasy. I ended up paying around $ 20 for the who items… I think the kalbi should have been more around $ 11 – 13 when I compare to other locations, but I ended up paying $ 16. The naan was $ 2. I wish it came together, because it actually almost made me feel like not getting a side as there was an additional cost on top of my entrée. Overall, service wasn’t good, food was average and cost was sort of pricey. 3 stars at best. Try it out if you’re around. Maybe my visit was just an unlucky one.

After going to other Milton restaurants with high reviews I was wary about expecting amazing food at Toss Thai. Service was average throughout our stay. I had several questions when ordering and one of the servers wasn’t really sure of what I was asking him. I decided to try out their chicken tom yum soup after reading their recipe on the huge chalkboard. I also got the chicken and shrimp shanghai noodles. The tom yum soup was decent and reminded me of Vietnamese sour soup. I was disappointed that they didn’t use the same noodles as their vegetarian shanghai noodles. They used a thinner type of noodle that I wouldn’t consider as shanghai noodles. I felt like there was a bit too much sauce used. My boyfriend ordered the kalbi with a side order of naan. He was unimpressed with the naan because it was a small piece and it cost $ 2. The kalbi was heavily drenched in sauce which is something I’ve never seen. Prices are a bit pricey for average asian food. The kalbi alone was already $ 16. Although the food wasn’t bad we won’t be returning.

My friend loves it here… she gets the sweet and sour chicken… or other dishes which they would soecialize for her. I got shrimps and it was served with white rice. My dish was a bit bland and I was not too impressed. Thier calamari was really good. I also got take out… I just said chicken and please make it with veggies and extra spicy. The owner said no problem she will make something special. Brought it home and my husband loved it. Place was very busy… plus my friend raves about this place… so with that said, I would try this place again. Very friendly service.

This place is AMAZING for the price. Clean and some of the best Thai food I ever tasted. And no I’m not a novice at Asian food, I’m Asian myself. If you’re at the outlets this is the place to go don’t eat at the crappy food court come here!!!

From the outside, the restaurant doesn’t look impressive, being in a kind of mall setting… Stepping in, it turns out to be cozy, simple table layout, but great care has been taken in the decoration, which creates a great atmosphere, with an Asian touch. Food was outstanding. service very friendly, efficient, and always positive. Funny thing, there was a couple from Thailand next to us… They were delighted, and found the food very authentic… We are so coming back again when in the Milton area!

After reading these reviews I am sure that I sat down at the right restaurant but was given food from somewhere else. I came for lunch and I decided to try the lemongrass chicken as it is normally one of my favorites and on the lunch special, but what I was given definitely did not taste like lemongrass chicken. The flavour was that of burnt oil and it was over cooked to the point of it being crispy and un-chewable. There was a distinct NO lemongrass flavour that had me hailing my waitress in case I got someone else’s order. Unfortunately she told me that was my order. I am giving two stars for the service which was reasonably nice and the hot tea that was offered when I sat down. I will never be back.

For over a month I had been missing the thai favorite in Pittsburgh. Now that we are here for good, it made sense to «move on». So, a quick search and we landed here. Pretty neat décor. They had the recipe for Pad Thai written on a huge chalk board. We were greeted immediately and seated. We decided to play safe and ordered Spicy basil fried chicken rice, Malay Fish and Hot & Sour soup. Soup was sweet which I preferred to be not. As for the rest, loved it! Our fish was fresh in thick yellow sauce with broccoli, beans and some wontons. The Chicken and Shrimp basil fried rice was spot on! Quantities were huge as well. Both of us were unable to finish off more than half of each dish. You can expect a sumptuous meal and charming host at Toss Thai. The owner had her own meal right next to our table. She took time to speak to us and gather feedback. Next time we’re in Milton, we’ll be back for sure! I saved ‘one star’ for now. Hope I’m encouraged to give it out after our next visit.

This will be my third time here for lunch. This is not just another Thai restaurant. The place is chic and family friendly at the sametime. Service was quick and they are able to adjust for your palatable needs. Affordable freshly made to order sustenance.
