My God. It’s like the cave of wonders from Aladdin, or Smaug’s horde from the Hobbit. Walking in this place is like walking into some kind of techno nerd paradise. I walked in the door, looked to my left, and there was a Nintendo Power Glove. Yes, as trite and useless a product as ever produced, but I’d never seen one. And there it was. The store left it there with the impulse buys, probably because it had no box. And inside, it’s like staring into the face of God. The world of electronic entertainment unfolds as you pass by. There are Pong boxes for sale, original and knock off. There are Odyssey and Vic 20 computers, Atari 2600&7800s, Intellivisions, Coleccovisions, and from there up to Xbox 360s and Playstation 3s. Seriously, I’ve never seen a Neo Geo or TurboGraphix in person before. Plus, games for all these systems, and accessories. Anyone remember the Game Genie? These guys do. Plus, there’s vinyl records and laser discs for sale. They had Commando playing on an HD tv. It’s a wonderland in there. Man, I think I’m gonna cry.
