I have been on several occasions with friends. It is very overpriced and mediocre/bad food. The brunch was a bad joke, watery eggs and other watery steam table food. I won’t be back. What is wrong in 2015 with all the pubs having disgusting overpriced food and extremely bad customer service and they don’t pass on the information to the owners so that they can change and get better.

Great atmosphere and décor. In my experience service has been amazing. As far as food goes, I haven’t tried much on the menu but I would say it’s standard pub food. My husband got one of the big burgers and loved it, very juicy, messy, and flavourful(in the best way) Regardless of if you love pub food or not, I highly recommend you try this place out, the décor and atmosphere is worth experiencing

Over-rated, in my opinion. Their food is inconsistent, ranging from satisfactory to good(lately mostly on the low side), but their beers are not my thing. They are exceedingly bitter and all have the same back notes to them. As for the cocktails, they cannot mix a decent one. All ice, no mix, bad bar booze. Better atmosphere in the restaurant on busy nights, and the pub on quiet ones. If they have a band, go home. Terrible sound. Too loud to talk.

I really dislike to say anything negative about this pub. Because 99% of the time they got it right. My advice would be to keep up your standards and don’t ever let another patron suck on a Greyhound full of mold. My stomach is. still upset. Not charging me for the drink was a no-brained. I’m still feeling sick. What I experienced in your bathroom throwing up. Was embarrassing and horrible I’ve never had that experience. Before I have always assumed places like yours would never sell me a moldy drink. I care about your success Mission Springs. Please don’t ever let that happen again.

We went for a fathers day brunch buffet this morning. Brunch buffets happen to be one of my favorite meals, so I was pretty excited to try this one out. We were very happy to find that children were allowed as they have a restaurant side were minors are ok. So me, my wife, 10&7 year old headed out on the 35 min drive from Port Coquitlam. First the décor is very cool, myself & my kids enjoyed looking around and discovering all the unique items. Even for a busy fathers day the hostess got us in quickly and they were very freindly. The buffet was typical brunch pub style. I thought it was as good as any of the others Ive been to, maybe slightly less offerings than some others but the quality was good and they had some unique dishes that others dont-like spicy thai chicken bites, or enchiladas. Our omeletts were stuffed with toppings, waffles were great, the desserts were fresh & tasty. Service was great– my water & coffee was always full and our empty plates were cleared quickly. Would definately go again, with or without the kids. Would like to give their menu a try for dinner or lunch.

The baked goat cheese appy is my favourite thing in the world! Their food is always consistently good. The Sunday buffet is always packed, and for good reason! It’s awesome. The ambience is like nothing you will find anywhere else. This place is truly one of a kind!

Mission Springs Brewery is a huge facility with character. For those ok with decent pub fare you will get it in heaps here — really good fresh burger, huge pastas, pizza, salads and more. I’d say the eclectic menu is above average for sure, but nothing«light» — this is a place for after a hike where you burned 1000 calories. They also brew their own beer. Inside it has 2 parts: a restaurant more for families, and the pub. Both serve the same food and have the same rustic charm with old gas station signs and memorabilia, only one side has no screaming kids. They even have a sand pit with volleyball courts outside and a patio in the summer. Worth a stop in the area,. I doubt much else out this way is as worthy of your time(but I’m happy t be corrected on that).

We’ve eaten here three times since moving back to the Majnland and have not been disappointed yet. Food is good. Not gourmet but solid pub fare — then again, we come for the atmosphere, the eats are just a bonus. Our kids get a kick out of this place with its ‘Canadian Pickers’ décor(they filmed an episode here, doncha know) and love the Banana Split smoothie. Pro tip: it’s huge and the restaurant will happily split it into two glasses for a more appropriate kiddie size portion. True to their brew pub origins, the beer menu is extensive. You can stick with the big name bottled stuff if you must, but I recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and trying one of their own beers, brewed on-site. If you want to come without the kiddies, they have a pub side too… We’re rarely without ours so we haven’t ventured over there YET. Anyone know a good sitter?

Food a solid. Fries are frozen. Waitress suggests pasta over burgers. Pizza is their signature dish. Beer is good but not great. Food is extremely overpriced. On site brewed Beer should be less expensive as well. I’m surprised they don’t carry steak. Pub is right across the police station. To the left is Walmart. 3.5 stars for me.

We’ve been going there off and on for a few months. Good beer, good service, but mediocre food. On our last visit we were excited to hear of a «new«menu — but it turned out to be just a revision with a few reasonably priced old favorites dropped and everything else put up by a 2 – 3 dollars.($ 15 burger anybody? ?) This time the food wasn’t even average. I had pork bites(very fatty and undercooked) and lame fries. –Some of these pubs should send their cooks to Burger King to learn how to cook fries. I should have complained but they don’t even have«Customer Comment«cards Needless to say this will be our last visit.

I’m a tour bus driver. Unfortunately could not sample the suds on sight but bought some of the very limited bottled brew. So far excellent. We were a group of 40+. The food was fair at best though service was good. I would go back for the wobbly pops.

Friday was date night and we both decided to hit up MSBC for a night out for a kidless dinner date. With all I the reviews posted it sparked my curiosity as it’s only a half hour drive from where we live. Noticed the police cars pulling people over on the highway seeing that the Mission RCMPHQ is right here. So don’t drink and drive!!! The décor is rustic and historic with items that reflect the Mission area and it reminds me of Montana Cookhouse but decorated with more sense and logic. It was busy as the hockey game was on and we got a table and the waitress said he would come by to clean it. Sat there for more than five minutes for her to clean it and were wondering if she was ever going to coke back. She did!!! Ordered fat guy oatmeal stout on special for $ 4.95 and a coke for the mrs. The stout was like Guiness but not as think and could easily drink two of them but cause some serious havoc on my tummy after. The coke was super watered down an didn’t get asked for a refill which was pretty disappointing. Fish and chips were tasty but could have had a better portion of fries as it seemed a little skimpy but the tartar sauce portion was more than enough. Fish itself was fried perfect and not greasy and an interesting batter unlike usual battered to the extreme fish like other places. Beef dip was pretty big but a lot of bun and the mayo for the subbed yam fries were magma hot so might be best to go with regular mayo. The service was a bit slow, coke was watered down, and the oatmeal stout cause some intestinal distress but we will be back to give it a second time around.

The environment is great, eye candy. But the only thing you’ll want here is to order beer. The food is absolutely disgusting. Soggy wings, smelly seafood, unimpressive fries. I love pub food but this is more museum than restaurant. Next time I’ll pass.

So much kitsch, randomness and knicknacks… usually a foreboding sign, but it just grows on you until it becomes pretty adorable. This place kinda just absorbs you over time until you become a regular. Soon you find yourself pulling the steam whistle, counting the collections of old keys, tools, propellers, business signs, bucket seats, beer jugs, and license plates… everyday you will notice more and more stuff on the way to the bathroom, start chatting with the hairnetted children in the kitchen, and before you know it, you’re like Cliff Claven pulling up a chair. I come here at least twice a month when I’m in town and use it regularly for group meetings, a way to unwind with a drink after work, and for my recent discovery: the Sunday brunch buffet. I also love their beer made on the premises that you can buy in their adjacent liquor store… try the bombshell blonde ale, or the dashing pumpkin winter ale… so good! The place itself and the great staff deserve a star of their own, but the food is overall pretty good. The menu is huge and varied and you could go for months and not ever eat the same thing twice. This is standard but slightly better than the average pub fare with yummy vegan and vegetarian options for all and they pride themselves on the freshness of the food. My favorites so far are the«jilini’s», the pizzas, calzones, the portabello burger, the goat cheese appy, and the fajitas, all very good. I’m not much of a buffet connoisseur, but I tried their brunch buffet last sunday and it was quite good, they had a crêpe and omelette station, eggs benny, random salads and a very interesting yam and lamb shepards pie which was drool worthy… my only complaint was the only thing green or vegetable was the ceasar salad… so it was pretty heavy. Another awesome thing: you can use your pile of canadian tire money that you have mashed in a drawer somewhere to pay for your meal or to buy a sixer at their liquor store… finally a place to use the useless play money and feel like Daddy Warbucks!

I came here for years, food is always the same and the beer is good. The service is hit and miss, but being able to sit on the patio is good in the summer. Also, having a pool table is definitely a highlight! Though, I won’t be returning. I came with a date who only had a passport as ID, without a second piece. Though, you can travel anywhere in the world, get your ID and any papers imaginable, but being 27 years old and not being able to order a beer is a little stupid. Two pieces of ID when your first one is a passport? Give me a break. They refused us service, so I told them promptly that I would not be returning. Sure, maybe it’s a little harsh considering the strict liquor laws and not wanting to have it pulled selling to a minor. But how many FAKEPASSPORTS have you seen?

I’m drooling as I write this review. The memories of all of the amazing dishes I’ve enjoyed here… The Baked Greek Wrap is the best wrap I’ve ever had. It was suuuuper duper hot so be careful but it was to die for. So cheesy and creamy and chickeny… ugh so good! Also, if you happen to catch them on the menu make sure you try the stuffed yorkshires! I dream of these at night. They are utter perfection! I havent had a bad dish at this pub so if you’re up for some eating, make sure this is the place. If you’re up for some drinking, even better! This pub runs it’s own microbrewery and has some amazing local craft beers to check out. Always take a good look at the beer menu and choose wisely. There is too much good beer out there to settle for a lager.

This pub/restaurant may be a long way for people from Metro Vancouver to come to but it is worth it! Friends that lived out in the mission area took me here years ago for the first time. Let me say I was sold even back then before I had a real taste for Microbrew! More recently I have been in the area and been able to stop in for a bite and a pint. They have regular beer and one seasonal. Currently The beer lineup is as follows: Big Chief Cream Ale, Bombshell Blonde Ale, Fat Guy Oatmeal Stout, Olde Sailors IPA and the Brewers Black and Tan. I would personally pick between the Bombshell or the Olde Sailors IPA but that is personal preference. You can do a taster pack of all their brews here as well which can be a fun experience. They have a good sized menu as well with all the standard pub fair that people have come to expect including burgers, wraps, fish and chips, pizza, steaks, salads yada yada yada. The food tastes great and the prices are great to match. For example all the burgers are priced between $ 10 and $ 12. Find yourself a designated driver and get your but out here! Just a reminder if its game night get here early as parking for your car and your but will be hard to come by. — — — — — — — Warning — — — — — — - Also do not be stupid and drink and drive its bad and there is also a Police Station right across the street. Let that be a warning!

Coming here is like watching cute kitten video’s on youtube… you can’t help but be happy. We love bringing guests here and we like coming here by ourselves. The drive is picturesque and the building is fantastic. Each time we spot new antiques or quirky décor. The menu is diverse and tasty. Hubby loves the BBQ Burger. I often get the fajita’s or pasta with salads. They have their own brewing company here. First, ask to try the samples. You will receive a small flight of complimentary beers and will get to have a little taste of each. You are sure to find a favorite! Then order one of their wonderful concoctions. If you fall in love, purchase some to take home at the on-site store. Look for the hanging truck and the keys in the table tops. I will leave the rest for you to discover for yourselves… there are still oodles of ‘treasures’ to find! Great fun for the kidlets! The prices are comparable to chain restaurants but the experience is richer. The staff has always been great to deal with!

This is a great place to bring the family or go watch the game and drink beers with the gang. You may ask how is it possible to mix these two groups? Well half of this massive building is a restaurant and the other side a pub. Just remember on a hockey night get to there early if you want a seat. If you are out with the family and feel like you need a drink when you get home you can always pick up something from the cold beer and wine store which is also located under the same big roof. The Mission Springs Brewing Company makes their own beers and sell bottles of their magic elixir on the premises. If I could I would give the beer alone a 5 star rating. Kudos to the brewmaster he is a man of unusual talent. The food at the restaurant and pub is generally pretty basic fare. Not great and not bad. Good sized portions at a decent price. The pizza is worth a try. They have exposed beams and ceilings high enough you could easily fit a sail boat in. As I mentioned the space is absolutely massive yet somehow it feels cozy. This is likely due to the fact the walls, beams, and ceiling are all covered in historic memorabilia one can sit and stare at for hours.
