I have mixed feelings about this location, due to several different experiences I had while purchasing my new glasses this past month. The first time I visited this location, I went in to cancel an order on a pair of glasses I didn’t want anymore. However, these were originally ordered at the Square One location. When I came to the Erin Mills location to cancel my order and receive my refund, I waited 30 minutes before my request could be processed. When I requested a cancellation and refund, the salesperson I spoke to asked if I could go back to Square One and cancel it there instead, giving no reason why I should do this. I refused — it didn’t make a difference to me which location my order was cancelled. They then made a show of calling the Square One location, and taking another 20 minutes to cancel it over the phone with Square One. They then processed my refund — but only after repeated attempts to send me back to Square One. I really didn’t appreciate the salesperson’s attempts to relay a refund to another location instead of theirs, at the *customer’s* expense and inconvenience. The second time I visited, I had a more pleasant experience. I purchased my glasses, and the woman I dealt with gave me more discounts off the 30% current promotion. The third and fourth time I visited, I came to pick up my glasses and get my frames re-adjusted. These were, by far, my most pleasant experiences. I picked up my glasses from Harinder who explained to me the difference in lens size relative to my frames(something the salesperson didn’t do when I purchased my glasses during my second visit). When I came back to get my frames re-adjusted, I dealt with Suki, who went above and beyond my expectations. Although the location was very busy, she spent 20 minutes in their lab re-adjusting my frames to fit my face perfectly. This last visited really improved my opinion on this location, and I’m now very happy with my new glasses! Overall, service here is a hit or miss. If you come on a weekend or weekday afternoon around 5PM, expect it to be VERY busy. However, it slows down in the evenings. If you want great service, ask for Suki. She will go above and beyond to help you out!
