By far, the best chocolate almond croissants I’ve come to find in the GTA! Melt in your mouth goodness (especially when warmed)! While the Square One location is a bit smaller than Scarborough Town Centre, service is better. In terms of coffee placement, brewing machines appear to be scattered, making finding one with the flavour of coffee you want to be challenging. Hazelnut is one of my favourite’s and on a day I bought a coffee, it was extremely watered down. Most likely sticking with their pastries only.

I have been a fan of this chain for over 25 years and based on the service or lack there of at the Square One location on Saturday morning, I think I have had my last baked good from this place. The staff was completely oblivious to people standing (Those people being me, wife and son) right at the pastry counter. Not only were we ignored for a good 5 minutes, when someone actually did acknowledge us, they said — «be there in a minute» When I actually said something to what appeared to be a manager or supervisor, they didn’t even seem to care.

even if you don’t…pretend to actually care about your customers and therefor, yoyr business
