Major disclaimer: I know absolutely nothing about Colombian food. I had an empanada, a papa rellio(sp?) and a chorizo con arepa. I paid a total of $ 9 including tax for this. I can’t say that any of this gave me a wow factor, but the items were fresh and each item itself makes a great snack. I thought the empanada and the papa rellio were okay, but nothing super special. I kind of wish the empanada had a crispier, flakier texture, but maybe they aren’t supposed to be crispy? I’m not really sure. However, I liked the chorizo con arepa. The arepa was crunchy, kind of like a fried corn bread but I really liked the chorizo(sausage). It wasn’t spicy or too salty yet very well seasoned. Verdict: Since they had a lot of Hispanic customers, I think it’s probably my taste buds that aren’t used to Colombian food, so maybe I’l try it again.
