This is a great concept! I love the idea of an all natural full service salon and spa. The ambiance is quite nice, very home like feel. The spa has multiple rooms so it feel just like a house. Most of the products they retail are local, organic brands that I have never heard of. I came in for a manicure and the first thing I noticed was that they only had two stations for manicures and two for pedicures. Also, the nail polish selection was VERY limited. The majority of their polish choices were a brand called sparitual and they had 3 bottles of lacc polish. I know that these are cruelty free, vegan, organic polishes, but I don’t think they are professional grade. My nail polish started cracking the next day, but I don’t blame the salon, it’s the weak formula of the sparitual polish. I’m sorry for rambling on about the quality of the nail polish they use, but I feel like a professional salon should use the best quality products. It’s just like you can’t take serious a makeup artist who uses drugstore makeup and brushes. As a suggestion for restore, I would recommend switching to other high quality, 7 free nail polishes such as ZOYA and Essie. Okay now for the actual service. It was very slow. I think it took a total of an hour and a half for my manicure. This is partly because they don’t have a drying station, so I kept ruining my manicure. They did do a great job shaping my nails, I’m very happy with the square, even job. However, the polish job was average at best. My friends do a better job, that’s all I’m saying. Overall, this is a very warm, clean, affordable salon/spa option, but it is not comparable to what I’m used to.

I recently went to Restore and Replenish spa for a hair cut and highlights. I love the idea that the spa uses organic products and ammonia free hair dye. Vicki did a fantastic job on my hair! She listened to exactly what I wanted and the outcome was absolutely perfect, I am extremely content with my experience. The spa offers a wide array of services and based on this first experience I cannot wait to go back a try out a few more!

Went for a $ 20 brazillian groupon. This was a great incentive to try out the spa. I’ve been getting brazillians for years, and this brazillian would be worth the regular price($ 38). I wouldn’t say this was the best brazillian I’ve ever had, but I am definitely returning.

I recently had a groupon to recieve a 20 dollar Brazillian from this spa. Monique, the spa owner, was very warm and friendly. The spa itself is tucked in the little plaza off Maiden Lane, right across the RBC building. The interior is well decorated, and surprisingly spacious. At the beginning of the appointment, Monique did not leave the room as I changed, which struck me as a bit odd, but for me, this isn’t a big deal. Monique uses soft wax and strips; my past experience with this method has been less than pleasant, but Monique’s technique is very good, and did not hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. She waxes small areas at a time to minimize pain, but finished in a mere 10 minutes. She also gave me some soothing lotion. When I went home, I did notice a few stray hairs; however, I have grown to understand this as my hair is very coarse and does not pull out easily. Overall, this is by far the smoothest Brazillian I’ve ever recieved(and I’ve had about 7 – 9 from various waxers). It might be the quality of her wax, or her technique, or both. Highly recommend.
