I went through years of being ashamed of my smile and getting use to the fact that I will never be one of those people with a Hollywood smile. I didn’t take any pride in my teeth and did my best to conceal my crooked smile from others.
When I was 19 and in university, I decided to take the plunge and I seeked out braces after my older sister decided to get braces herself. Her referrel to Dr. Ecklers and Black made me feel at ease about the whole process and I knew what to expect and at least I wasn’t alone. I was always fearful of braces after hearing horror stories from friends in school about how bad it was to have braces. I was not willing to waste a huge amount of time and money in order to get straight teeth. I was scared I would be stuck with braces for years and years (like some friends) and the changes wouldn’t be worth it.
If I knew how easy the process was (100% attributed to the ENTIRE Smile Solutions team), I would have gotten braces a long, long time ago. From the moment I had my consultation, I knew I had chosen the right orthodontist team to help me fix my broken smile. I was walked through the process every step of the way and felt at ease throughout my treatment. Any questions I had were answered and I was always given the time and care it took to ensure my treatment was working.
I was also able to keep all my appointments without missing any class during my treatment. Appointments were always efficient without that feeling of being rushed or cheated. They were able to accommodate any request I had and fit into my schedule seamlessly. It was a lot less of an inconvenience and more something to look forward to than I had ever anticipated. I was excited to see all these drastic changes in my smile.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this orthodontist team. I have referred so many friends and family. The administrative staff and the dental assistants were all so wonderful. Every single member of the team contributed to my great experience. Every appointment was a pleasant one. My treatment took a total of 16 months which was way less than expected to achieve drastic results.
I am so grateful to the Smile Solutions team in helping take my worst feature and making it my best. I get so many compliments on my smile to this day. I often hear, «Your teeth are so perfectly straight.» I love my smile and it’s all due to Smile Solutions.
