When it comes to storage solutions you can’t beat the ‘burbs. Storage lockers in downtown Toronto are cramped, multi-​storied affairs where parking is a hassle and prices are usurious. Thanks to the endless sprawl of the industrial parks in Mississauga, storing my life’s possessions is a surprisingly painless affair.
Moneka was super helpful and expedient in helping me get set up with an account. It took about twenty minutes and there was only a modicum of paper work. The fees are all written out in black and white, and the price included a heavy duty lock. Locker sizes range from 3×8 (closet) to 10×25 (studio apartment). They are ALL ground level, and you can easily drive right up to one. No dollies or hand-​bombing boxes required. (Pro-​tip: push the sliding door down slightly when unlocking. They can stick.)
The compound is enormous. People store frickin’ boats and commercial materials here. And you can access your goods 24 hours a day. Beats most storage solutions in Toronto by a long shot.
