The Chase Convenience Store

I have been going to this Taiwanese convenience store/​food place for the longest time. I would think only local people in Mississauga would know of this place as not do they sell Taiwanese grocery items, they also offer lunch box, bubble tea, snacks and frozen vegetarian items.
Their Taiwanese takeaway items are so delicious and seems to be pretty authentic as they have most of if not all the Taiwanese specialties. Example, braised beef noodle soup, minced pork or chicken on rice (with the egg of course), «three cup chicken» rice, fried popcorn chicken, fried pork shop, grass jelly dessert, Taiwanese fried noodles, dumplings, etc.
On the weekends, they also make Taiwanese sticky rice rolls, which sell out pretty quickly, so remember to go early or call-​in and reserve some. I do recommend to visit this place on a weekend as the owners make specialty items that aren’t offered on weekdays. they have this sticky rice siu mai that is one thing I go back for– once they sell out you will have to wait till the following weekend!
The owners of this store are friendly and service is fast. Since the store is located in a plaza, there are tables outside of the store to eat but everything is served in a takeaway container.
Oh! I can’t forget to mention the other snacks, like bubble tea, grass jelly dessert with red bean, freshly made tofu dessert and fish balls. These are also available and the bubble tea is quite popular. Though, I might not be a big fan of their bubble tea, everyone else that I see ordering something from there always gets a drink.
I will be back when I have a Taiwanese craving… yum!
