The Home Depot

Ok Just another big giant store but, I think its smaller than the one heartland.
Staff — is very helpful and Friendly. They will walk with you to find the stuff looking for.
Variety — is not bad!
Projects — The employees will walk you through the mini projects you tend to take on at home.
Parking — they have a huge parking
Greenhouse — The area seemed to be smaller than I have seen in other store
Overall another Home Depot with pretty much the same stuff and design.

On Thursday Sept 3^rd, I received the WORST service ever from their cashier «Joanne’ who works at the contractors front cashier. I had purchased several items and one item did not have a price on it. She rudely told me to go back and find one that had a price on it, when I explained to her none of them had a price, she rolled her eyes at me and said I will call someone. I waited as she served 3 more customers and still no one came. I then asked her to CALL AGAIN, and once again she gave me a dirty look. Finally someone did show up and she finished my sale. However this it where it gets worse. After paying, SHE SHOVED THE RECEIPT AT ME, and gave me another dirty look. She did not apologize for the delay or thank me for my patience, what a joke. Being a homeowner requires you to have a permanent spot at either Rona, Home Depot, or Lowes. Between the 2 big box home stores, my choice sadly isn’t Canadian (Rona). This Home Depot has everything well organized and staffed to address all my house needs while not killing my credit card.
From gardening supplies to Christmas decorations to paint to in-​ground sprinkler systems, this place has it and with many choices. Unlike some other stores, this one is beyond just repair and functional house items. It has a decent amount of decorative items as well. Chandeliers, rugs, patio furniture, frames, storage wall units, and decorative garden fountains are in various departments throughout the store and they’re all well priced.
The paint department is super helpful as they recommend the best paint formula and helped provide better colour combination. I can only look at 20 paint chips at a time before the latte starts looking like woodland mushroom or tanned leather.
Their garden centre is filled with lots of options and the plants are always in top shape. I haven’t had one die on me yet. Even with my black thumb, the rose bush I planted gives me really nice bloom year after year.
Also, I recently bought a rake to replace my old broken one and after looking at my yard, I realized I really needed a leaf blower! The whole return process was super easy and done in 2 minutes. There’s no hassle, bother, or rolling eyes her. Just fast and courteous service. The self check out makes things easy here as well and if you do need help, the cashiers are more than happy to do so.

Difficult to find help sometimes but when you do the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Be prepared to use the self check-​out. I have yet to see a staffed check-​out line. They have fantastic hours and overall it is a decent location that’s well stocked. I like.
