I normally would NEVER give a Tim Hortons a rating higher than 3 stars because I’m not a fan of their coffee. I find it watery and just missing any robust taste. That being said, this brand new Tim Hortons really did well on the service piece and that’s why it’s a 4 star. Away from the main road, this Tim Hortons has a large space between the Superstore and Toys R Us. It’s very easy to get to even though it’s not off the main drive and the insanity that usually kills most drive thru isn’t here. The lane ways are wide and the flow of the traffic actually makes sense. NOVEL! It’s a pretty big restaurant for a Tim Hortons. It has more than enough sitting for at least several big groups. It’s new, freshly painted, and the service area is HUGE. I counted 14 people behind the counter serving! Unbelieveable! They were making brisk business with their constant churn of drive thru and it never seemed to stop moving. I doubt people were waiting long as a new coffee, bagel, or sandwich was constantly being served at the drive thru each minute! My pal ordered a donut, XL coffee, and sandwich combo… for the price point, it seemed like a great deal. This was all for $ 6.50. The prices are creeping upwards but compared to most places, it was a good deal. He was served within a minute of lining up and service was more than competent. They were able to quickly take the order and relay back his customized sandwich preference in a snap. Impressive… considering Starbucks have yet to iron out the kinks from their new staff, they may need to take some lessons here. I personally don’t like coffee but my friend swears by it and loves this place. With the super attentive, quick, and personable service(all 14 of them behind the counter!), I can see why.
