I went in to mississauga location for a shellac manicure and pedicure. Booked my appointment 10days advance. And when i get there the receptionist asked me to choose the colors. I told her that i would like french on my hands and toes. 10 min later my esthetician comes out from the room to tell me that they dont have time to do my french pedicure because i didnt tell them on the phone I want french. Like seriously. I mean how am i suppose to know 10 days in advance if i would wanna get french or not. Honestly i am so disappointed by your service. Its ridiculous. I thought this was a high end customer service oriented spa. The spa was empty when i got here and empty when i left. Suggestion: dont book back to back if you donot have enough staff.

I’ve been a few times now and the esthetician I get is a smoker and I only know this because I can smell smoke on them. I think even once in between my services they went for a smoke break and the smell after was way too much for me. In addition to this being off-putting, clearly it’s very unprofessional. Although one may be a smoker, a customer shouldn’t be aware of this outside from conversation you have with them if it came up or if you actually see them & this should not be during your appointment. It also seems like the staff aren’t trained on what their policies and prices/services are. Possibly I’ll give them one more chance to redeem themselves but the way the place looks, what they offer and from what you read online, you expect way much more than what it actually is. It’s also annoying that when you try to call them rarely does anyone pick up. Definitely not 4 stars … 3 at best.

So I had the chance to get my nails done here finally after my mishap last time. I took the advise of the gentleman that replied. When I got in, the great receptionist offered me coffee, tea or water as soon as I got in. Jessie did my nails and the service was amazing! Very friendly and professional. She managed to salvage my jewels from the previous design. She did good thick and nice nsils. The problem I ran into was the design. As you can see from the picture, it was definitly not amazing. She tried a couple times, but I feel like she should have just said I can’t do it that we’ll. How about something different and I will try next time. I won’t personally go back now. If you aren’t a person who wants design I reccomend this place.

Terrible customer service. My girlfriend was getting married and called in to book an appointment for her & the bridal party(very small, 3 ppl altogether). The person on the phone told us to come at 5, but when we arrived they said they didn’t have enough time to do what we wanted, and that we should all get simple manicures because the staff wanted to leave on time. We even arrived 20 minutes early… I’m at a loss for words. They suggested a time slot for us, and then restricted us on what we wanted to do? After some pointless back and forth, and the girl blaming US we decided to leave. The place wasn’t even busy, and there were at least 5 people working there. With all that time spent telling us it’s our fault they could have finished and made over $ 130 not including the tip. Apparently it takes them over 1.5 hours to do gel or acrylic nails… We did not receive a single apology from vixen, they didn’t even try to offer the bride a complimentary manicure or SOMETHING, and they had no problems turning us away the day before the wedding KNOWING it was Saturday evening and the chances of us finding another place last minute would be very difficult. We went to Nice One Nails and we were all done within 45 minutes(before 6, which is when vixen closes). We even called them as we were driving there and they said not to worry, that they would stay open until we were finished. Now THAT is excellent customer service and THAT is why they have a large clientele and regular customers. I will never go back to Vixen again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. You’re in the customer service industry. Set aside your attitude and at least put some effort into making your customers happy instead of screwing the bride over.

This place is very clean and beautifully decorated. There is also free WiFi and free parking underneath the building. Customers were greeted warmly upon entering and offered tea or coffee. I was there for a shellac manicure, and I was happy with the end results. Thanks Jessica!
