Carpet Cleaning — quote misleading
After receiving a sales call from someone who I understood was related to The Bay, I was provided with a reasonable quote based on the size of my carpet. When the carpet cleaner came on the appointed day, he was surprised to see my wool carpet and informed me that the price would be 3x the price I was quoted! What an unpleasant surprise. Seeing that it was not his fault, I went ahead with the work as I wanted to get it done. The cleaning was accomplished to my satisfaction but I was disappointed that no offer was made to reduce the price, which would have been a classy move considering the situation I was put in and would have left a better impression. As a result, I doubt I will be recommending or using their services again.

Stay away from these people! I bought a coupon … there was never confirmation they were coming at all; arrived 15 min early on a Sunday morning, I wasn’t dressed; Didn’t have a vacuum or broom & had a couple of products — nothing pro strength (were supposed to have all their own products); only vacuumed the area carpet after I asked !!; swept the rest then used a DRY mop — unbelievable; didn’t clean the outside of fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer; cupboards were left streaky as were the windows they were supposed to clean… keep in mind this was supposed to be a «grand menage»; I bought a 6 hour service & got barely 3; the man seemed to know what he was doing but the young woman barely 20 — KEPT HER WINTER BOOTS ON — through the whole thing, can you imagine! One of the showers needed a scrub with a product like Tilex… I’m not sure they knew what it was — anyway, it looked the same as it did before they came. Finally, he was supposed to get back to me by email on another matter — zip! Will never call them again :(

Bought a coupon from Teambuy for their ‘mobile car cleaning’ service. The service was for steam cleaning and salt stain removal. What a mess they left my car in! They left the soaking, wet, filthy floor mats on both my front and back windshields which caused dirty, brown, soapy water to pour over my car. They did NOT remove the salt stains from my mats or floor. When I called the company I was simply told there were no guarantees in the quality of cleaning. I ended up having to pay $ 35 to have my car detailed to clean up their mess. Also, their ‘mobile’ service means you have to provide the hot water and the electricity for their cleaning machine; they do not even bring an extension cord with them and I had to carry buckets of hot water down 3 flights of stairs for them. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Spend the extra $$ and have it done properly the first time.
