DON’T I REPEATDON’T USETHISCOMPANY!!! If you like good customer service and to be treated with respect and not ripped off this is not the company for you. Obtaining the quote and securing a date was no problem. I should have been skeptical from the beginning as the price was lower than most other quotes I received. Fast forward to moving day. We were only moving 1 King bed, sofa, dining table + 10 chairs, 3 bar stools and some other various items. No clothing and no kitchen dishes. It took them close to 8 hours to wrap the furniture and load it in the truck. It was so painfully slow that at times I felt like doing it myself. From there my items went into storage and here is where it gets worse. I was moving my items to California but didn’t need them until end of January. I received a call in mid November from them saying that if they didn’t ship them on a November truck they wouldn’t have another truck going until probably February. I asked if they could set up storage in California as I didn’t need the items yet and they said they would call around and let me know. Next thing I know a week later my items are on the truck and they are asking me to fill out border crossing documents. WTF??? I never even received a quote for storage. I am then told that as of Jan 12013 it would be $ 153/month for storage instead of the $ 95/month I was paying. I agreed and the items were sent into storage in California. Next thing I know I received a revised bill on Dec 6, 2012 saying that storage as of Jan 1, 2013 would be $ 300/month. Now I am pissed. I send an email saying I was quoted $ 153/month only to receive a response that the person who quoted me made a mistake. I tell them that this was not my mistake and I should not be charged the additonal amount as I never agreed to this. No response… no response… Now January 8th rolls around and I am ready to schedule my final delivery for Jan 26th. After numerous emails and calls I am told the dispatcher is out due to a death in the family and no one can help me until she is back. While I am sensitive to these circumstances it is a little frustrating that no one can help. Jan 22 rolls around and I call again and finally reach the dispatcher. She is rude and tells me she is going through a pile and will get to mine eventually. When I receive a response not only I am told that I am being charged $ 300/month for storage but I am being charged for February as well!!! Fuel surcharge amount changed from 15% to 20%. After being over charged, dealing with horrible customer service people who use the method of not responding at all to customer inquiries I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are quite simply one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Not to mention that when I finally had my furniture delivered my white couch was dirty and had been uncovered in storage and my leather barstools were scratched and ruined.
