Peter is the knowledgeable, kind hearted owner of Loft 9. He is well versed in antiques, vintage and art spanning furniture, jewelry, lighting, objects, photography, etc. He often works with your budget which is also too kind, and helps you choose the right pieces without spending unnecessarily. There is heart in this shop. You feel the love Peter has for these precious objects and that they are. The shop is packed to the brim with treasures each telling a story. For example, a handcrafted mouth blown Murano light pendant — you can’t find these things just anywhere. And if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask. Peter has an upstairs filled with larger pieces and knows them all by memory. Whether you’re looking to buy or not, Loft 9 is so worth the wander.

Teeny tiny antique shop with a great big heart. A wise friend pointed out this small storefront to me, I must have walked by it a thousand times without noticing but once inside I started to get the warm fuzzy feeling of good finds. Over the course of a couple visits the owner proved himself not only friendly, and intelligent about his collection, and willing to negotiate openly and fairly, he also went above and beyond to find pieces I love that fit my budget, and to deliver them on time lovingly polished and in perfect working condition. 5 stars for sure and I’ll be back asap.
