Borealis Laboratoire Photo

Borealis is the best full-​service photography lab in Montréal. Their service is excellent and their staff is very knowledgable.
They do printing (inkjet, gelatin silver, C-​prints, budget prints), film development (C-​41, B&W, E6), scanning (Imacon), and they also sell film. Borealis is the only lab in Canada that develops E6 (slide/​positive film), like Provia or Velvia. Basically, everything you could ever ask for except for drum scanning, in which case you should go see PhotoSynthèse. There’s no reason to go to Photo Service or Photo St. Denis for development when we are lucky enough to have Borealis in Montréal. Also, little hint: if you give Photo Service slide film to process, they just mail it to Borealis and pretend that they developed it (haha).
