Came across this cute café on a walk through the plateau. Got a delicious apple crumble cake and a cappuccino with a lot of foam! Friendly staff and nice decorations

A lovely, friendly spot in a great neighborhood. Stopped in for a light bite while walking around with my husband and son. Great service, wide variety on the menu and a welcoming atmosphere.

Love the coffee, love the service. Also have nice tables, free wifi, and outlets, so it’s a great place to do some work when it’s not busy!

Great food and better service! Everyone working greeted me when I came in and my server checked on me a few times to see how everything was. I had the Triangle du more sandwich which was pretty good, but the Thai soup was AWESOME. Overall very satisfied though it was a little pricey for what you get.

I’ve had enough of their horrible lack of customer service. It’s absolutely frightening how their girl servants can be so snarky and still think they deserve tips. Back in the days, servants work for their tip, even now, in some of the countries where good service is of extreme importance – Japan for instance, they don’t even get tips! I just went in today for a pot of tea while studying, but I went through two hours of absolute torture. I don’t ever want to set foot back in there. The manager is an absolute genius who only hires conceited shrews who cannot be nice to people even if they get paid for it. Is it so hard to be humane and unjudgemental while serving someone a cup of coffee? I went in with an old coat and a school bag since I was going to study and didn’t care what I was wearing, but the servers used my appearance to see if they need to lick my backside or not. I got no smile, a conspicuously fake polite greet and a LOT of SARCASM from this snappy PMSing woman of a server(name is Eliane). Here’s what happened: I found myself a table and realize there’s coffee on it so I ask nicely if she can clean it up, she answers«sure just give me some time», but I waited for so long I just went and cleaned it up myself. While I was cleaning my table she comes with a dirty rag«do you want me to clean it with this rag?» to which I answer«no I will be fine» since I’ve already finished the job she was to do before I even set foot in the place. She says«fine» and leaves. She comes back 2 min later asking me «have you decided yet?» I answered: «no it will take some more time» and she has the audacity to say«well how long is some time?!? One hour? Half an hour??» I stopped her ranting by answer«no 5 minutes will be fine». She comes back 10min later, I ordered a pot of tea, everything seems nice to this point. The moment she reaches my table with the tea, she does not ask me to move my stuff on the table nor does she do it herself, but instead smacks the empty cup on the table and puts down the hot teapot next to all my belongings and said loudly to herself«It’s nice of you. My pleasure.» before I was able to say anything. Now see, someone else would’ve left angrily at this point, but I stayed and tried to study because I didn’t want to let myself be bothered by such stupid actions. I did some work and went to ask for more hot water myself because I knew the place was busy and I didn’t want to make them run around more just for some hot water, but God knows why she passes by me and say«Missy over here forgot that I was taking care of her.» while I was waiting at the counter! Who knows what would’ve happened if I did ask her for hot water. For all she knows, I avoided giving her more work. That was completely unnecessary and immature. As the place got noisier and after seeing quite a few potential clients leave because there was no places left, I decided to leave. I got up, took all my things and while getting dressed, Eliane comes and throws the check on the table. I didn’t care anymore and did not want to look at her or talk to her. I go to the cash to pay for my stupid mistake of coming in the café and ask discreetly if there’s anywhere that I can send in a complaint letter. The other server comes and screams out«oh she wants to make a complaint!» at which point our darling Eliane comes and says«well you can tell the manager to come here right now I’ve known her for seven years, I have absolutely no problem with this…» Not only did she try to embarrass me more than once, she also flaunted about how great her relationship is with the manager, proving the fact that the manager doesn’t really care who she hires as long as they can suck up to the richer looking people for extra patronage. I might go back to the café, but I won’t order unless it’s Mr Morin serving me. His service and the attention he gives to all his clients, without exception, makes this place still worthy of my time and money. He was the only one who deserves any patronage and tips. Other bad experiences include«Michele» who was cold, conceited and annoyed, some other girl with brown hair and black-framed glasses, as well as a small blond girl who looked like she doesn’t belong in a café.

Such a great spot for a coffee along St. Denis! I had a coffee outside on the patio, which was a lovely spot to people-watch and enjoy a sunny summer afternoon. Inside there are lots of coffee bean options to bring home and brew yourself. Great atmosphere and high quality coffee.

Great coffee menu-tons of options! Lunch menu is typical but decent. Service was slow because they only had one waitress on the patio(minimum 10 tables). She was absolutely lovely and going as quickly as she could, but solely due to the shortness of staff, we waited quite a long time for our menu and order to be taken, and there was obviously no quality check done. Assumed their was adequate staffing, I would definitely visit again for one of their delectable coffee concoctions.

When I’m trying a new coffee shop, I’m usually looking about three things. The first one, and the one that makes more sense, is the coffee! The coffee was great, so nothing to say on this. The second thing is, like everywhere else, is the service. I liked this venue as you sit down, and they’ll serve you at your table. The service was good, and fast. Last but not least, I’m looking for a computer friendly coffee shop. I won’t stop going to a place that is doing a great coffee, if this is not a computer friendly venue, but I may go less often. This one has a lot of seats, and table, but they are lacking of electric outlets. It’s a problem if you plan to stay there to get work done. Also, the free wifi was so slow, even with only 3 people connected. I had problem to load simple web pages… By chance I had my Internet USB stick. At the end, it’s a good coffee shop, but maybe not the best one if you need Internet(who don’t need Internet for their devices today!?), and have a short-life battery for your laptop.

Coffees, teas, bakery based menu. Best bagel I ever tasted, and the egg-ham-cheese on it was superb. Delicious coffee, out of dozens of varieties. Endless tea choices as well. Pleasant service and reasonable prices. What’s to not like?

I really enjoyed this place! Its prices are pretty on par with what you’d expect for a gourmet coffeehouse with some fancy sandwichy things. I got both kinds of chai latte, both of which were served unsweetened(with sugar packets on the saucer). I’ve discovered that if you’re looking to taste the chai and not just drink some super-sweetened milk with enough tea in it to make it brown enough that they can call it tea, this is much better. I also ordered a croissant and eventually a panini. A friend ordered the panini of the day. Everything that we ordered was good, served in a timely fashion, and not horribly expensive. I think that the best part of the coffeehouse for me was that we were there for quite a while – basically through two meals – and I never felt pressured to get up and leave. In fact, when I started pulling out all of my notes and books in preparation for spending some time there studying, the waitress came over and pushed another table up to mine so that I didn’t have to juggle tea, breakfast, and three books. My only complaint would be that they sacrificed practicality for presentation when they bought their tea dishes. Serving hot beverages in a thin glass rather like a wine glass may look just darling but it makes me feel(and look) like a tool to have to wrap it in a napkin and only touch the glass with the tips of my fingers because it’s too hot.
