I was impressed with this place initially although that changed very quickly after my friends and I got quick out because we brought women on a Monday night. (which is not ladies night) After everything that was done in the past, and still today, to fight discrimination against the the LGBT community I can’t believe this happened. The Campus staff showed so much hatred this past Monday night it’s disgusting. I understand that most of the dancers are straight and that bringing girls in distracts them from the male customers but it’s no reason to kick us out on a Monday night when there’s only 10 other guys, moreover, there’s is never a valid reason for discrimination. I’m never setting foot in that mess of a place they call a business again.

Maybe we went on a slow day, but I wasn’t too impressed. Like many bars in Le Village, it’s cash-​only. Dancers that come on the mian stage don’t require tips, so long as you’re drinking. Their main revenue is from private dances.

I’ve never been treated like this… I got kicked out of Campus because the server asked me twice if I wanted anything to drink and I said no. Of course I had already paid to get in and purchased four drinks. What a joke.

This place brims with lust and testosterone… the dancers are hot, young and are willing to show their wares… some offer «private dances» which is an euphemism for customers to get some oral gratification with the dancers, who tend to be fairly friendly and not too pushy

Reviews said that there was no cover charge but when we got there, cover charge was $ 3.00, no big deal. Drinks are watered down and small, mostly ice. It was $ 6.00 for a whiskey/​Coke and it was barely a shot of whiskey in it. The club had a very weird vibe to it, some creepy old guys in the corner playing slot machines. Some old queen walked by and took the the tip from the bar that I had left for the bartender and used it in the slot nachine. Gotta admit though, the Dancers are hot!

I guess the big attraction along the Village is Campus and other strip bars long the street. Campus is probably the larger of all of them with more men on stage. While there are plenty of eye candy on stage and fantasy of straight men gay for pay gets tiresome after about an hour or show.
Maybe I have A.D.D. and even the grinding tease and naked men on stage doesn’t hold my attention that long. The dancers can be aggressive if you make eye contact and lured to the inner sanctum of velvet curtains for a lap dance. For me it wasn’t that exciting. They gyrate to one song going through the motion and bored at the same time waiting for the song to end and next paying customer.
It is certainly entertaining for awhile but dare I say it after one guy the next 5 looks about the same.

Nice place… clean cut guys in their 20s. This has been the place to go in Montréal for quality dancers. You need to buy a drink to stay… and watch… most beers are around $ 5. Not a bad deal.

The best of the St. Catherine strip clubs. The dancers are friendly and attractive. Small cover on weekends, not on weeknights (but weeknights can be a little hit-​or-​miss).

These men are twerkin’ like they’re workin’ and if you want to watch there’s no shame in that!
All jokes aside, yes this is a male strip club, a gay male strip club with a ladies night on Sunday. And yes ladies night is still pretty male oriented as at the beginning of the night there was a 90% male 10% female audience and towards the end of the night it was 50 — 50. If you are expecting a Magic Mike experience I think this is probably not the place to go as the dancers seem to work it more for the men than the ladies.
Do not go at the beginning of the night unless you want to be a part of that awkward group of ladies in a sea of men. (Lesson learned) As well, the waiter is extremely pushy and slangs drinks like no other. The dancers are friendly guys but appearance wise let’s just say you will not find Ryan Gosling’s lookalike brother here :(. The performances were ok but short and repetitive. We still had fun but to be honest the club was run down, icky, and the male clientele were really seedy looking and gave off a major creepy vibe. Anyways, if you would like a more fun and classy experience for women Club 281 is much better for that.

We only stumbled into this place because Stock Bar was closed on the Monday night we ventured into the area (Gay Village). Oh, and it was Labor Day Weekend & the streets were surprisingly dead on that Monday night. Anyway, the short of it is this place has a much seedier feel than Stock Bar & and duh, an older clientele. On the night we were here, maybe like 1 of the dancers actually got, er ah, «excited». Like the other place and probably ALL strip clubs, they definitely are aggressive in trying to get you to do the Lap Dance — $ 20 for 1 very very very short song. And yes, they are all probably straight — at least the 1 guy we participated with … and HE (the lap dance) was very boring, song was like 2 mins, he never was ‘excited’, & basically took the money and ran. Quite a let down for my virgin experience. If I were to actually buy a lap dance in that area, I would probably do that over at STOCK BAR. Drink prices are typical of all the bars — $ 7 cocktails + tip.

What a fabulous place — well, if you enjoy watching naked men strut to top hits while guzzling down a Molson! Sounds like a party to me, anyway!
The dancers here are more on the muscular side, flexing and showing off their… you-​know-​whats rather than dancing provocatively.

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming to the American patrons.

Campus is located on the second floor. Overall the place is OK, and yes most of the clientele are old man but what would you expect from a male strip club lol

Seedy. Slow service. The crowd is a total snooze… mostly because it’s mostly old men out past their bedtime. Maybe 1 in 5 of the «dancers» are actually attractive and when they came out into the audience they want nothing to do with anyone but the old dudes that will pay to go into private rooms. The gay scene is not the highlight of Montréal find something else to do with your time.

If you want a place to drink good cheap beer, and watch hot muscle men and jocks dance buck naked with big boner cocks then this is the place for you.

The place is named «campus» but the boys are hardly campus go-​ers.
Mostly muscle hunks. If you like guys who look like Ahhh-​nold then it is the place for you. Too much muscle is a turn off for me.
Having said that, the crowd is very friendly and mostly middle aged to elderly gentlemen. Service is slow and it took us forever to get a drink.
The thing with Montréal strip clubs is that the dancers change very frequently. The dancers from yesterday will not be working there anymore after a week. I still suggest you check it out but, save it for the last.
