A bit further down from the main Duluth restaurant stretch, Le Couscous Royal is a delightful little Moroccan joint. I’ve been recommended this restaurant by Moroccan friends as one of the best places to go in Montréal and I was not disappointed. If you get a table upstairs, there are nice cozy benches on one side of the table with comfy cushions. Trust me — you’ll be needing them to relax by the end of your meal! There is a good variety of Moroccan dishes to choose from — Mechoui, Tagines, and of course, Couscous. You are able to choose an appetizer to go with your main meal, and you can also opt for a dessert in lieu of appetizer if you prefer your sweets. A nice mint tea completes the meal. Also, it’s an apportez votre vin — a definite plus!
