Right next to the Dior boutique, on the swankiest street in Montréal, the little display and discreet door seem to get little attention. This is probably because, as I mentioned, it looks tiny, and the brand isn’t as well known here as it is in Europe.
I really am not a typical customer for this sort of shop: I’m a broke student who dresses badly. But hey, we all have delusions of grandeur from time to time!
I was snapped back to my middle-​class reality when the inner door was closed, don’t be fooled people, they have to buzz you in!!! i was looking for perfumes, but was was to scared to ask in that exclusive boutique. Holt Renfrew, which you can access from the Hermes store carries the said scents and that’s where I went to have a sniff.
Still, the boutique is the way to go is you have any specific questions. Sure, the employees look stuffy in their matching grey suits but you will find a kind, obliging one for sure. They are generous with their perfume samples, just ask! even if, like me, you look like (are) a broke student!
