Le Toasteur

Charming and delicious, we found this location through sheer luck, but from now on we’ll make this a destination when we’re not Montréal.

Le Toasteur has been our go-​to breakfast haunt for a couple of years. We can be found there on most weekends, it’s become part of our ritual.
It’s gone from being excellent to «good» to now outstanding. What used to be a relatively quiet spot has increased in popularity with a wide range of locals. During the last year, they experienced the understandable growing pains of getting a good team together and they have it down to consistently great food at any time of day. We’re always surprised and in the dozens (maybe a hundred?) times that we have been there, we have never had a bad experience.
The staff are very friendly, the owner (Mark) is a really nice guy and takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work and makes sure everyone is happy!
For the Anglo crowd — the staff are bilingual and they have English menus!!! The offerings are always very fresh, healthy, tasty and ample! The prices are very reasonable and you won’t leave hungry!
The food comes hot and quickly, the coffee is good and endless. Le Toasteur reigns as the breakfast place in Montréal — and there MANY choices. Drop by and say hello to Mark, you will be happy you did!

Très beau lieu dans le quartier. Nous étions huit et par chance nous avons été placé très rapidement. Pleins de choix avec des assiettes bien remplies. C’était très bon

Je suis toujours contente d’aller au toaster. La bouffe est toujours bonne et fraîche et le personnel toujours souriant. Le service n’est pas super rapide, mais qui est vraiment pressé?

On né se trompe pas avec «le toaster», j’adore ce restaurant et ça vaut la peine de faire la file :-)

Bön petit restaurant pour déjeuner dans Villeray. Le service est parfois très lent et le service hasardeux mais en général l’ambiance est bonne et les déjeuners aussi. Menu classique de brunchs traditionnels/​bénédictins/​omelette/​etc.
