feeling a bit down? getting tired of summer? want some magical moments? well, you came to the right place or you really hate summer.
this is christmas, 24/​7, all year long!
they moved from their original location on st-​sulpice to this one which is bigger and brighter. first thing that hits you is «fuck, they are not kidding, this is christmas every day.» and then you wonder how the hell is it a profitable business selling christmas every day? especially in this part of canada where winter last 6 months.
nonetheless, its a very interesting shop where you can find pretty much any kind of ornaments, even halloween ones. yes, halloween. not really surprising when you think about it, most stores would have both halloween and christmas decorations out at the same time!
anyway, some very interesting and funny halloween decorations. as for the christmas ones, besides disney, you can find the coca-​cola polar bears ornaments. probably the best thing next to the grumpy cat plush.
during the holidays, i’d say its more like a 4 but the rest of the year? only a 3 but that’s because they are not playing any christmas music. who would want to? you’d get sick of it except if it’s some Mariah Carey.
and they have a kiosk in Old Port overlooking the water by the SOS Labyrinth bunker where you can find Santa.
