This place is my go-to after the Grand Prix. Second time here and it does not disappoint. The staff is great, and the portions are huge. Poutine is on point, and the burgers are diesel. Definitely a spot to hit if you’re in the area.

Don’t waste your time here. Just went this weekend for lunch. Service was awful, the waitress we had was super rude and the food was not good at all. Go to McLeans next door, way better!

Inexpensive beer and inhabits mostly younger adults. Had a $ 12.00 pitcher and watched the nba playoffs in their TVs. Good place to unwind and drink a few drinks with your buddies!

One of my favorite bars to chill at on weekends. They have a humongous 144 oz pitcher for $ 30 that will get 3 people nice and tipsy. They have a very generous amount of beer on tap and other mixed drinks to please all. The food is good and always hits the spot as pub food. Overall a very good place to go and have a few beers and snacks with friends.

Stopped in for some beers before a Habs game. Almost everyone was wearing a Habs shirt or jersey and the atmosphere was incredible! We also got a pitcher of beer, which was very inexpensive. A great place to pre-drink before a game or to sit and watch a game and eat some cheap pub food.

A sports bar with Tv’s everywhere. Not the best place to go if you want to catch up with a friend, but a very wide menu and good service. Go there when there’s a sports game playing, that’s what it’s all about.

The place was good and the lady who had served was helpful. The beer served was frothy and chips were nice and crispy. The scotia movie theatre was a stones throwaway. It’s a good place on a Friday night to catch a beer after the movie. P. s if you are game lover, u would definitely enjoy this place …

Fun pre-hockey game drinking spot. We didn’t sample the food, but it had a full pub style menu with poutine et all. The draft beer selections came in a 144 oz pitcher… which was the largest I think I’ve seen commercially. Very active and full of fans pregaming… it’s a fun spot right near the Bell Center. Solid 3 stars

This place came highly recommended, in retrospect by someone who was probably very high. I had a Ceasars salad which was nothing more than iceberg lettuce with mayonnaise slopped over it. Nasty. It was our first meal in Montréal and I would have sent it back if I wasn’t so hungry. The«mild» wings were covered with BBQ sauce, which was kind of bizarre. I was told that I couldn’t have any extra hot sauce, and that I would have to pay extra for a cup of sauce which I understand, but the hot sauce and the suicide sauce were different prices, I fail to understand the rationale for this. The service was deplorable to boot. Will be dining elsewhere next time.

My «co-pilot» and I were looking for reasonably priced drinks and food nearby while sightseeing in Montréal during our visit. Minus the 30 minutes I got us lost going in the opposite direction-we enjoyed it. Dining You had the option of eating inside or outside, since it was beautiful we chose outside. Just know the bathroom is inside on the second floor. Menu has two sides, French and English. Food was delicious! I started with chicken fingers & instead of just honey mustard or BBQ sauce, it came with a sweet plum sauce that I wanted to package and take home. Then I got a chicken sandwich that was on a toasted baguette and fries. The seasoning was just right. The other person got calamari and rice, which took us both by surprise as calamari is usually an appetizer, no rice included. He said it was decent. My only gripe was the bartender got confused or my waiter didn’t order the right thing — I wanted to try the blue sangria they have on their menu, instead I got a blue lagoon. But, since their happy hour was well priced with 2-fers I just drank and we continued on our self tour of downtown.

Not gonna leave too lengthy of a review for this place. I was in town or a bachelor party and this was a place we happened to walk into when the lines at the brunch places were too long. When the bar next door was packed and this place had 3 or 4 patrons other than us I had the feeling we should have walked out right then. I ordered a bloody Mary. Maybe because I am from a city with great food and drink my opinion might be a little biased, but this is not a bloody Mary. Vodka and tomato juice is not a bloody Mary. After requesting(and paying for) multiple items to add to the drink it was almost palatable. For my meal I ordered a bbq burger because everything else looked boring and, after a day here, I was already over the poutine. The meat was cooked well done. The only way they seem to be able to cook beef in this town. Whatever, I can deal with that. What I can’t deal with is the promise of a burger smothered in bbq and getting a mere dollop. The bacon was also undercooked. On top of all this the bun was esentially reconstituted sawdust. Service was terrible. Would not go back.

A group of about 14 of us stopped here the other night to get our drink on. And that we did. We sat at long table upstairs and ordered round after round. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. And our glasses/pitchers were never empty. We also ordered their bacon poutine, which comes on a baked potato, and their poutine balls, which is basically the bacon poutine mixed and fried in a ball. Both of those were absolutely delicious. I guess I should mention we were getting pretty drunk, so anything with bacon would’ve been delicious. But still. We had fun. Oh! The BC-SSK football game was on. And we had a hell of a time picking sides and rooting for«our» teams. BC in overtime baby!

Got the 8 oz sirloin with salad and potatoes. Great flavor, it is a breakfast steak so don’t expect it to be thick. The flavor however is excellent. Yea! They have ranch dressing. Great service; everyone speaks French and English.

The Peel pub is a nice bar with outside seating and has very cheap beer. You can buy huge pitchers for about $ 10. Even the nicer beers are really reasonable price. We sat out on the patio which has a nice view of the city. I ordered the fried chicken burger which was mediocre, wish I would have got something else. We had 10 people and they accommodated us really well. The Service was great. They were able to break up the check really easily even with 10 people but it seems like most restaurants in Montréal are pretty good with thus, much better than here in the US. Overall a nice place for a mid afternoon drink and meal.

This place is great for hockey. They have a massive TV on that is visible from the second and third floors, in addition to having TVs line the walls in each floor. The mixed drinks are pretty crafty for being a sports bar.

Gord and I had lunch yesterday at the Peel Pub. Gord ordered a Meat Lovers pizza. He said it was good and he’d get it again. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger with mashed potatoes. It was delicious and I’d get it again! Claudia was our server and she took good care of us.

Stepped in here on a Sunday for an early lunch before riding the bus back to the airport, this place just so happens to be near the airport bus stop in the area. This place served beer, food and had TVs with sports on, I am an American male, these things should satisfy me. I ordered a beer, a burger with poutine on the side and sat back. The beer was ok, price was kind of high but I am in downtown, the burger came next and so did the disappointment. The burger and fries both tasted like frozen commercialized food that was thrown on the grill and the fries were just dropped into the fryer without regard to temperature, and crispness. The poutine tasted like it was from canned gravy that had being warmed up. Overall for the location and price you can totally do better somewhere else.

Like many people I’ve been here for the 99 cent shooters on Thursdays. They’re tiny, and taste like kool aid. We tried pretty much all of them on the menu and I think you have to order 4 at a time. They’re sickeningly sweet and just make you super thirsty. Also had the nachos which were below average, cheese feels plasticy. This place is often full and I’m sure it’s fine for cheap beer and a get together with friends to watch a sports game, but it’s not a place I want to hang out at. There are soooo many nice bars in Montréal, don’t settle for this!

I was here either three or four times over a weekend. It was that solid a place to knock back a painkiller(err… beer) for my sore feet. The draft beers I drank weren’t watered down at all. Several televisions tuned into various sports programs. Sit upstairs(if you can stand the smokers) or try to snag the table by the window to watch the people walk by. I never managed to eat anything, but the plate of spaghetti(yes, spaghetti) served to the next table looked quite good.
